GC really should've just told him her actual feelings before he left, instead of that letter because the literal heck?! Although besides that, I can understand GC and what she ended up doing and I can understand JH too. We're just going through some hard tragic angst crap right now, but I think part 2 will make up for it.
the way this drama makes me laugh and giggle like a little schoolgirl and then proceeds to make me cry my eyes out with my heart literally breaking every second the next is very telling of how good this drama is and how it will indefinitely break me as it has been for every single episode. everytime i think i have no more tears left to cry, new ones appear just as quick. it's just so tragically good.
I'm absolutely taken with this drama, I really am. Namkoong Min & Ahn Eun Jin are absolutely amazing in their roles, the chemistry? SO GOOD!! I usually try to avoid drama's where I think there's a tragic end, but I couldn't help it this time. There's just so much to love about the drama that it's worth the heartbreak. Am I prepared for the heartbreak? Definitely not. But it's worth it. It's a masterpiece in the making, and reminds me so much of Mr. Sunshine that it would be a mistake to not love it.
After binging all four episodes, I have a feeling that this drama will be a masterpiece like Mr. Sunshine. I see many similarities, and I'm already loving it so much! It might be too much to hope for a happy ending in this one, but whether it's a HE or a SE, I think I can take it either way, especially if it's going the way it is now. The ending of ep. 4 is definitely probably my favorite moment as of now, the "Dear Husband, move!" was just so good!!!
episodes 8 & 9 are my favorites because OMG!!!! "I'm dying inside" literally had me sobbing like take responsibility Jo In Sung!! I'm seriously dreading the episode where we see what happens to doo shik because this man would not leave his family unless he had literally no choice. the parents' backstories is just so good, I can't wait to see the backstory of HS's dad. although the story of the kids is great, the adults' stories is even better for me. one can have favorites lol
I'm really excited to see the parents' stories, more so on Jo In Sung's character! Mans shows up at the very last minute in ep. 7 and I'm already losing it!! I hope he shows up in the present timeline and has more moments with his family instead of like reuniting at the last minute.
The show is entering its last 2 ep next week and people are still asking for romance? 🤣 You’re better off…
Literally tho, lol. There was zero romantic chemistry I felt between HK and SY from like episodes 1-8. I could kind of see some of it in the recent episodes but like this drama isn't a place for romance
I'm trying to find out what's the dude detective role in this series. Is he here only for some romantic tension?…
I completely agree. I'm trying to see what's his role in this drama but I can't see it. I literally fast-forward most of the scenes he's in because he doesn't add anything to the story really. I don't really see the "romantic tension" between him and SY either, but that's just me. Maybe it'll change later on, maybe it won't. Lowkey won't make a difference for me lol. SY and HaeSang's dynamic is everything to me, I just hope they all get to be happy at the end.
I’m so afraid that SH may be an enemy who killed the woman BJE was holding.
That was the vibe I was getting but the way they're showing the flashbacks, it can be very misleading. I don't think events in the 1st life is even remotely clear right now, so I'm hoping SH had nothing to do with it, or did but at least didn't kill her or something.
I'm rlly rlly RLLY hoping that they don't rush the ending. There's just four episodes left, PLEASE!!
Also, I'm trying to wrap my head around her 1st life. According to the flashbacks, she and Seo-Ha were lovers, Min Gi liked her but it was unrequited, and a woman was killed with JE holding her in her arms. The woman she's holding can possibly be two people: her sister or SH's mother. SH's mother will definitely play a big role, I just don't know what. The flashbacks are also a bit confusing seeing as they're showing us snippets and we don't really know what's what. I'm a bit confused of what SH's role was in her 1st life. It seemed like they were lovers, but in several scenes, it seems like he was very cold and the person who held the sword tainted with blood. It could be two things: either he was involved in some sort of killing, he saw something horrible (perhaps FL's death or the death of her loved one?). Anyways, the puzzle pieces are coming together but there is something missing. I won't be surprised if they add some new characters in because I think there's a third party involved.
I've some questions I didn't understand. 1. Is Seo-ha's uncle his mom's brother or step mom's brother? I think…
1. Seo-Ha's uncle is his mom's brother. 2. I think Seo-Ha's father is not really "protecting" the uncle per say, but trying to maybe shield(? Seo-Ha from being hurt/traumatized again, so he's trying not to let him know? That's just my own theory for now though. 3. And yes, he 100% tried to kill Seo-Ha so he could either gain inheritance or his sister's hotel. Something along those lines.
