I am actually starting to loose all the hope and joy, I had for Sky and Prapai story. Their story is suppose to…
There are 3 eps left so a bit more time, don't panic. (Plus a special ep a couple of weeks after the series finishes)
There was a bit of complaint at the time with the PayuRain storyline that there wasn't a storyline but it was also pointed out that it's a character driven series.
I think the same is for the PrapaiSky storyline, it's character driven and is about Prapai and Sky. While yes the story of Sky and Gun has an affect on Sky I'm guessing we don't need the full details. We can see how Gun has affected Sky and that's the part of the story we need.
I'm actually always surprised at how much has been fitted in to each episode of Love in the Air so I'm pretty sure we will get the full story. Last episode we could clearly see Sky softening to Prapai so the falling in love has already started. In the last 2 episodes we have seen a shift in Prapai and how he behaves towards Sky and how he speaks to other people about Sky.
I think everything is now in place including us being introduced to Skys ex.
Does anyone know which ep had a scene where Phayu was watching a video clip of Rain?
Are you on about the scene where Payu and Saifah are at the garage and there is a picture of Rain on Payu's phone which Saifah see's as he borrows Payus phone?
I didn’t think that the novel was actually real given the abrupt start but uhhhh… uhhh.. I did say I would…
I heard that New had said it was going to start with that scene and here is the confirmation!!!! So I'm guessing that's going to be in the first episode!
I actually think it's a pretty darn healthy relationship.
Yes there was the same discussion over on Tumblr and a review written by someone who is a practicing Dom.
I'd already picked up/labelled it as a D/s relationship but I don't know the intricacies of that type of relationship so it was interesting to have her point of view. She also highlighted that there were elements missing like the discussion of safe words etc however she also made the point that this is a TV show and like all TV shows it never shows everything.
To be honest it maybe the same person/same group of people, I know she has multi platforms and there are a couple of people in their friendship group.
But because of that discussion, it solidified the thoughts I had about the D/s aspect and what type of D/s relationship they have. And you can see that right up to the most recent episode.
So I read somewhere (I don't have the link) that when Rains says 'Do me' what he actually said was 'f**k me'. I don't know if they just wanted to clean up the subtitles like they did with KP and their epic fudge moment.
AND OMG! they are right, I've just rewatched the scene but with those translations in mind and the Naughty Boy translation does make it 10 times dirtier!!!
It is the ML'Rain' and his terrible hair dye that is ruining this show for me. I would have preferred any of the…
Oh I like Noeul. I think he has wonderful comedic timing, particularly with Peat. And that crying scene in his bedroom, I thought that was rather beautiful.
I'm with you on the hair-dye. That's not a Noeul problem though and could have happened to anyone cast in the role. That's a production problem and one I think crops up in Thai BL's a few times. The one I can think of off the top of my head is Win in Until We Meet Again. That drove me up the wall with the constant changing colour and cut!

For the first scene when Payu takes Rain to the garage I get why people find it uncomfortable or say SA but I always think it's not as bad as some people say it is. The world isn't back and white and some people do enjoy a bit of a game.
For me I took my reads of those scenes from Rain. Was he uncomfortable and shocked, yes. Was he scared, no. (I'm not talking about a bit of fear of the unknown I mean terror of something) And that right there made the difference for me.
In terms of their relationship at that point being problematic, could Payu actually verbalised a bit more, sure because he seemed to understand the situation more than Rain. But then pretty much everyone on this planet has had a situation that seemed abundantly clear to them and then they speak to the other person involved and find out they just aren't on the same page and that's how I read their whole first interactions.
I think people were expecting a lot from 2 guys that had literally known each other for 5 minutes. People seem to want to hold characters to this unrealistic standard.
And it's like anything, the more information you have the clearer it becomes. Same with their relationship, we have more info now, we've seen how they react later in an established relationship. So I like to apply that info to previous parts of the story and so then you can go 'oh, that's why he did that'.
Well apparently Payu likes to give good parent! So I like to think he won over Mama Rain during dinner and she's just happy Rain is doing well in school, plus he's not getting into any trouble and she's gained a polite son-in law with a decent job!

I'm enjoying both.

Clearly my brain has stopped working
Anyway, now I see this post where it says that Payu didn't say 'what a tease' he actually said 'Naughty Boy'
