Not every show needs to have complicated plots. Just because this one basically boils down to boy meets boy, discovers…
You seem like quite an angry person.
You stated you didn't like the show and gave reasons. I stated I liked the show and gave my reasons and you went with a personal attack.
"here comes the cinema majors and gives you their deep breakdown with the passive aggressive discussion."
Yep, that's a personal attack on someone who stated a simple opinion. I don't know what you want dude, it wasn't really a deep breakdown of anything nor passive-aggressive. It was a literal opinion stating why I liked the show and that I don't believe everything has to be complicated. I guess some 'cinema major' hurt you because damn did you have a negative response to a throwaway comment that I studied Film and Theatre.
"Did i ever say you couldn't ??? or anyone else can't like this show ???"
No, you didn't. But then I also didn't say in anywhere of what I wrote that you said that either. An irony considering you just insulted someone else and their reading comprehension in another comment.
But hey, you carry on the angry comments attacking people because they like a show that you clearly don't. It says more about you as a person than the one who doesn't have the same opinion as you. I think you might need some time away from the comments section to take a breather. You should not be getting that worked up over it.
I'm not sure what else you wanted them to do. The opening scene in ep 7 made it clear that Akk was imaging the…
I can imagine it was probably a bit weird watching when it seemed the characters weren't talking about it and pretending it didn't happen.
They way they filmed it for me meant it kind of kept it simple and spoke to Akks character. In other shows I've seen it's a big fantasy but for Akk all he wanted was a simple kiss with a guy he likes. It makes it sad because he's not asking for the world he is wanting something so basic and feels he can't have it.
Know what I especially enjoy about this series - next to the great chemistry of the actors!? The fact that we…
Yes it does drive me mad when you go through all these episodes with problems for the couple to get together, they finally get together and then the episode 11 curse comes along throws that last spanner in the works and as you say they get back together in the last few minutes of the show.
I CANNOT BREATHE !! likeeee who told you you can do that . To be honest I wasn’t sure about Payu and Rains chemistry…
I enjoyed this episode for the change in their relationship. You really got to see how they have become comfortable in their relationship, how they really are a couple now and not two guys circling around each other. Sure they have things to learn about each other still but it's solid at this point.
Payu is confident it their relationship that he shows Rain a bit more of his world and he is willing to share more info about himself. That is something he told Rain, when they went out to dinner, that he wouldn't do until Rain had shown he was committed.
And Rain is settled so that he can voice what he wants, take control and also realise that when Payu says something, even if a bit harsh, he knows when he is teasing and when he is serious.
So after watching ep. 1 I noticed that every time Prapai sees Rain he is always itching to ask or look for Sky.…
I haven't read the novel as I don't want to spoil the show but from the comments I keep seeing I'm getting an idea that Sky is truly some hot sex god nerd. And I will live for that character!
Look we all saw the boxers...but I decided to use my imagination to rationalize for that scene that yes, you can…
I can't describe how much this comment made me giggle!!! It shall now be known as the sex hole moving forward (and yes while typing that I realised people will take that another way!)
I have to say it does perplex me why they went with light blue, why didn't they pick black or something so it blended in with the bedsheets!?!?!
Tbh if you minus the "hot" scenes everybody drooling over & the chemistry which i think every on-screen couple…
Not every show needs to have complicated plots. Just because this one basically boils down to boy meets boy, discovers he's not quite perfect on account he's in the illegal street race scene and ends up kidnapped because of it, then needs to be rescued doesn't make it not engaging for people.
I have other shows I am watching that have a solid plot (The Eclipse and War of Y are interesting at the moment), that's what they give me. That's what I like about them. This one I like the characters and they engage me. Rains development engages me. Sometimes things are more character driven than story driven.
Not everything has to be highbrow and have the cinematograph discussed etc. Sometimes people just want to see pretty people do pretty things and chill. For me I have enough going on in my life at the moment that it's welcome to be able to sit down with a cup of tea, a bar of chocolate, watch Love in the Air and then gush about it afterwards with everyone else.
I mean if that's not your thing then that's cool but you must have a much higher mental bandwidth than me to be focusing like that all the time. I studied Film and Theatre at Uni and spent time doing analysis of film and TV to the high heavens. All of us appreciated the chill shows for what they were.
I’ve said it a few other times but I’ll say it again….I feel very smug about the fact that this show is…
I'm with you on that! I saw the trailer for this and knew it was for me and I am so glad it is meeting expectation!
It is proving to be one of my favourites of the year. (And I have watched alot this year as I am catching up on previous years also)
I'm not as excited about Big Dragon, the trailer looks good but it doesn't make me feel the way Love in the Air's trailer did.
I'm looking forward to Between Us but I am a little worried but hopefully it's almost here and I will know.
Oh I did see a trailer for something called Male Entertainer. It's not a BL per say but it's about a guy that works as an escort. Look really gritty and interesting.
Yeah I clocked it this time straight away. A little more noticeable this time around but I also take the view…
Youtube me mind official is the cut one. Iqiyi is the uncut version.
There is also a second youtube channel called memindy uncensored which posts a few uncut scenes. However i noticed while it posted the ep 6 sex scene it actually had a couple of bits cut as well
In both bed scene I saw phayus underwear ( today's was sky blue)😂😂 so my qus is the cameraman lost his focus…
Yeah I clocked it this time straight away. A little more noticeable this time around but I also take the view that if I'm focusing on that I'm focusing on the wrong thing!!! :)
Interestingly enough the uncut version of the sex scene on the MeMind Uncensored YouTube channel is actually slightly cut and removed the tongue lick and also removed the full pan down so you don't see the underwear.
Where did you find the novel? Care to share? Thank you.
I haven't read the full version of the link provided but it's an actual translated to English version. It's not the Indonesian one that was doing the rounds that people were using google translate to translate into English.
It seems a pretty good version from the first couple of chapters I've read.
I think you are doing better than me!!
You stated you didn't like the show and gave reasons. I stated I liked the show and gave my reasons and you went with a personal attack.

They were kissing then it cuts to Akk leaning over Ayan in the same pose before the kiss started. Ayan is still asleep and Akk looks a bit panicked.
I don't think the normal exposition route would have worked here as it would have taken away the feeling of the scene.
We just want couple time!! :)

I can't believe we are down to the last episode of their story

And yes he looked so good in it!!! I got a bit distracted as well :)

7 will wrap up the main part of Payu/Rain so you have 2 weeks to go
It seems a pretty good version from the first couple of chapters I've read.
