i read that this drama was supposed to have 2 seasons, but with the way they treated shuxin and linghe we fans…
not this crap again... 🙄
And because delulu fans keep bringing up the poster for a Sina promo event where Esther and ZLH were excluded from the poster... it's because EY and ZLH had concurrent events they couldn't get out of, and were unable to make it to the event. It would have been dishonest for the event organizers to include Esther and ZLH in the poster when they weren't participating. This isn't something malicious-- they do this with every promo event-- show the characters who will be at the event. Imagine the uproar and upset if they were included in the poster and have the fans arrive only to learn then that EY and ZLH weren't present. People would have cried they were lied to and deceived. I hate fans like you who ruin a good show by creating drama out of nothing.
SFL. I have never watched her drama but she did great in this.
She did make quite an impact, didn’t she? I’m so happy with the MUA in this series who finally fixed her eyebrows. I think the reason she couldn’t she didn’t get to shine in her earlier dramas was because her MUA gave her thick and straight eyebrows that made her look like shin chan 😂😭
She is so natural on screen and does great eye acting
All the back hill Young masters,Jin fan and all the gong brothers
I love them so much. I loved all the backstories and wish we got everyone’s backstories. I was especially impressed with the young actor who played Prince Xue. He was just 11 at the time of filming and he did his own stunt and wire action. I loved all of his scenes!
Who’s the character who had the most impact on you? Mine is HYS. His scenes just wrecked me. The look in his eyes, even his silhouette screamed pain and loneliness.
Some people on reddit having an issue with YQ being a minor who has a love line with Elder Yue who is older, and portrayed by an actor who is 20+.
There is nothing explicit or sexual about their relationship , and getting married as a teen was the norm during ancient times when most people died in their 40s and 50s.
What is this new obsession with age gaps the past few years? What’s the deal with demanding that stories set in ancient times follow modern cultural norms and practices? Does this make sense?

I think my tolerance is pretty much gone with the “my idol deserves more screen time and respect” and the “age gap” folks. 😩
