Just started and this show is such a fun feel good show!I didn’t think that XF and XKC would pair well, but…
I thought their pairing would look like another XLC and Zhao Lusi (they didn’t go together well visually), but they surprisingly work well and are super cute together!
I can’t believe I forgot how far Cdrama kisses had come. I remember even just a few years back I was lamenting about the terrible kiss scenes in Cdramas where the FL just stood there wooden, with their eyes open and fists clenched.
What made this drama a frustrating watch was YangZi’s character. She really argued with a doctor about what food a gastro patient is and isn’t allowed to have… her complete lack of logic and disregard for others… and stubbornness for stubbornness’s sake… I couldn’t stand it.
Not to mention the cello scenes— it’s the text book of what NOT to do when acting like you’re playing the cello.
YZ is not a bad actress at all— she’s actually a good actress, a talented one— but I hate her character here as written and acted.
I still remember how she came to California and trampled all over our poppy fields at the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve during one of our super blooms. So many people told her to stay on the path, but she laid on the poppy field, trampled on the flowere, and them cut them so she can put them around her face… all for instagram.
After seeing the total lack of respect to for our land and our laws, I hope she never returns to SoCal. I stopped supporting her, what she did was so selfish and disrespectful. Spoke volumes of her character.
He’s killing it on Love is an Accident. He is a well-rounded actor who has both the comedic and dramatic acting chops. Hope to see him in more projects!
I’m enjoying this drama so much, it’s light and fluffy with plenty of laughs.
I’m just mad at Xu Kaicheng’s HMUA. What is up with the hairline and makeup? The makeup is so matte thick and foundtion is too thick. Not sure what happened here, but XKC’s eyes are slanting upward here and his usually gorgeous face is… different here. 😩
I don’t know why i feel like she is more match with sml. Maybe because of height difference of ml & fl. ML maybe…
I loveeeee when XingFei is paired with giants. XKC is tall, has broad shoulders and all muscles , so he’s bulky and appears even bigger next to her. I think they surprisingly look good together, I thought they wouldn’t when the project was announced!
