I can't believe he's grown so much. Growing up before our eyes. T^T He's in almost all the popular dramas out this year. Once he turns 16, he'd be able to play main roles.

Contour makeup & facial expression in addition to the wig is definitely a possibility too! XL is supposed to look like an otherworldly ethereal beautiful creature that can stop anyone in their tracks-- I wouldn't be surprised if they used makeup to sculpt his face more for the role of XL. :)
It's fine and great that the mom finally realized she was wrong, and apologized to the daughter... but did she ever apologize to the ML for saying all those mean things? The thing I hate about these Cdramas and their mean trope is the sheer disregard for others. If their children are precious to them, they should realize that whoever they're antagonizing and treating with disrespect too is a beloved and precious child of someone.

I think I read somewhere that TJC and YZ are both foodies and went out to eat together while shooting-- they put on a little weight while shooting because of their love of food, and didn't mind too much because "they were gaining weight together", until the director stepped in and told them to lose weight.
I don't know what their shooting schedules were like, and which scenes were shot in what order, but it may be that he might have gained a little weight while shooting his FFB scenes too.
Correction: They didn't go out to each, but brought food for each other and ended up putting on weight because they both put on weight easily.
