When Bai Jiu Si finally realizes what he’s done, it’s going to be devastating, but also kind of cathartic. He’ll finally understand her pain, genuinely regret everything, and try to make up for it. The real question is... how does he even begin to redeem himself after something like this? That’s a deep hole to climb out of, and not a lot of episodes to turn it around. If the empyreans orchestrated this whole mess, how the heck did they do it?

I believe she stole those artifacts to save her child, and in that, she succeeded. However, the tragedy unfolded when Bai Jiu Si, caught in battle with Hua Ru Yue, took their child's life (maybe inadvertently), all because of the stolen items.

Yeah, this story is more brutal. That's why I said I was hoping there would be less abuse, but it's not the case.
This story just has TMOPB vibes, I don't consider it a knockoff drama or expect it to be just like TMOPB.

Yeah, I also got TMOPB vibes from this drama. I was hoping for less abuse though. Doesn't seem it will turn out that way. At least she gets to keep her eyes...however, I think she would have gladly given up her eyes in order to keep what she is about to lose.

I also think it would have been better if she had just faced her own consequences. At least then, the outcome might have been less devastating. Instead, they both got hit with punishment. She was still punished, but instead of the Empyrean realm delivering justice, it was BJS who did it. And now, all her wrath is aimed squarely at him.

I wouldn’t say that was the worst part; sometimes, ignorance really is a kind of mercy. But when he finally finds out, it’s going to crush him, and that’s tragic. The real heartbreak is that he’s the reason for the misunderstanding in the first place, and because of it, they lost their child. He kept her in the dark, and even though he took the punishment meant for her, thinking that would somehow make things right, she still ended up facing the worst possible outcome. Sure, losing his child will hurt him, but he’ll be grieving a child he never knew; she actually lived through that pain.

Man, Lord Yu Ya's advice to BJS about not having a baby is really hitting different right now. 😞 He sealed her power, and boom....she’s pregnant. Without her power, she can’t properly nurture the child, and he’s born sickly. They struggle to keep going, but it’s rough, and BJS is just...gone. When the worst happens and the child doesn’t make it, she’s completely powerless to save him. Honestly, her love tribulation isn’t just tough, it’s downright brutal. 💔

LQY existed, but she died in the flood too. HRY transmigrated into her body.

The tree maid was with them and told BJS it was Fan Ling Er's fault HRY trespassed in the hell ruins, which got FLE locked up and freed HL..which was part of the plan.

The audience is anyone who could potentially be a witness, like the demon boy. They are just covering their tracks and making the act convincing.

I get what you're saying. It’s clear he cares about her to us viewers, more than just a friend, but he’s not giving “in love” energy in her presence. Aside from that one big moment when he suggested changing their relationship, gave her flowers, the kiss, and a few sweet scenes (that she is unaware of)like watching over her while she slept or opening up to HRY's fake master about having a baby, there hasn’t been much genuine affection.

He shut her down about having a kid coldly (and didn’t even bother to explain why.) his vibe is less devoted lover, more overbearing roommate who won’t stop lecturing.

He might as well be telling her not to associate with mortals. She doesn't view them as lesser (like ants) like he does; she cares about them. Her personality doesn't allow her to just sit back and watch bad things happen to people she cares about when she can do something about it.

And about the fake master, she seemed close to BJS like a confidant. Wonder what BJS did to make her side with HRY?

From what I gather, It was his idea to change their relationship from rivals to lovers to see if they would progress. It's not a heaven ordained official tribulation. However, it seems he isn't involved in this self-imposed tribulation wholeheartedly. He leaves her alone all the time for "Business". He controls the narrative. She seems impacted by the suffering in the human world, and wants to do something about it, it's in her nature. The grandson seems to have had an effect on her too. He risks his life for others and maybe she wants to be a goddess worth worshiping....Well she does end up with a whole sect dedicated to her. 😁

Ok...the latest episode has me feeling like BJS deserves to die already. If my husband ever tried romantic revenge just because I had a savior complex, he'd be experiencing his own personal tragedy arc real quick. 😂

What kinda love tribulation is this? They are just immortals residing in the mortal world. Never seen it done this way, Always seen them living, dying, and experiencing life as humans would, without their powers. What does he expect her to do, not interact in the world they are staying and just fawn over him 24/7? Well, if he gave her a child, maybe she would be too preoccupied to meddle in others affairs.

Yeah, I think I’m gonna stick with the Red team, they just seem way more likable. The Blue team? Yikes. They’ve got a doctor with zero bedside manners, a guy so bad even his daughter flipped on him like a master strategist, and a bossy dude whose only life goal seems to be mass destruction. Not exactly the dream team. 😅

Oh, the eternal dilemma.....do I roll with the fiery Red team (HRY) or ride the celestial waves with the cool Blue team (BJS)? If this whole epic heavenly war boils down to a lovers quarrel, I'm ready with popcorn.🍿 It's funny to think all that divine power being thrown around is because of an argument that may have started with" You never listen to me!
