Exactly this. I think the series fumbled in the middle. It went totally into GL and they even had a BL scene. Its like they wanted to mix up everything that people think or conspire or want in a dating show to happen, happen in it so they made a mess out of it a bit.
I honestly think it made no sense by the end for her to end up with him even though I was sure and think they were the couple for most of the series

Ik where the plot comes from,I have read it, I have watched it but if you're changing so many things anyway, you can change the bad plotlines to make it better no? Like johnny trying to rape him or jin blaming it on akin's attractiveness and making it his fault etc
watching the last episode really had me feeling sad that it was completed when they showed their pics at last, I was basically having a feeling of memories and good times and I wasn't even there lol
it is truly lovely that they all actually made friends and also had fun playing this games.
i think I'll miss them, they all feel like people I connected with personally idk why. i am not usually like that 😭

I mean it was enjoyable but why tf is this rated a 9/10. Its a 6/10 plot with 7.5/10 fights.
I just binged watch the whole series. I think the reason is that it's packed, it doesn't have any boring moment and wraps the plot.
Secondly, so many kdramas features bullying but bullies always just get away or the drama is too sad to continue watching, this one make bullies pay while keeping people entertained.
Good characters that are not draggy and background is explained in limited time.
I think not being stretched up and having a nice screenplay helps a lot. Also the series just ended, it'll obviously have a high rating, it might go down later
