That's what I don't like about these characters which is realistic I guess since she's not all that perfect. Her personality now feels so clingy and obsessive. Whether friendship or romantic goals, she is being selfish, weak and manipulative. I mean he's her friend but she doesn't own him.

Ep12 was really good for the romance aspect, it seems like MS has fallen hard for QQY and she has good feelings towards him, not yet romantic but friendship. I was disappointed in Mumu, thought she would be a good friend for both but her jealousy and sabotaging makes her character turn for the worse and I really hope she snaps out of it.

Wow the visuals are really something. I read the novel and it is really spicy. I think there will be many censored parts if they don't tame some parts down or eliminate it altogether. Looking forward to this, are they close to done filming and when will it be released?

Is ML actually crushing on FL or he just admires her strong personality and want to be close friends? It's not like he is opening pursuing her nor is he all that nice to her but it seems like he is interested or curious about her. There's hints of both but I guess it's bosom friends now and lovers later? I didn't read the novel yet but spoilers welcome.

Yeah I have no problem with that the backstory revolves around QB since it's written in the synopsis so they are not intentionally being deceptive (unlike Passionately in Love - I still have issues with that drama nevertheless), I wish the focus was given on the actual main leads which I hope will be the second half. Otherwise it would appear that the FL cannot move on with her life and stuck in the path due to her stubborn nature so I hope she'll uncover the truth soon. I just want her to be happy and not look so sad and miserable most of the time.

Seriously conflicted with the show. On one hand, I like the mystery unravelling to FL sister story but I think it's way too focused on that and sometimes I feel like her sister actually overshadows everything. I rather them focus more on the growth and development of both leads. On the other hand I resonate with others where I feel like I'm not getting my fill with the romance side of things either and ML feels like a supporting character sometimes. IMO, It's definitely a serious show and not the typical high school romance, more of a slow-burn which I guess is fine and I still enjoy it but there needs to be a better balance.

I find the show sort of draggy. Main couple is not that interesting and half way FL sort of annoyed me. Second main leads have a more interesting storyline overall but that best friend is so wicked.

Wish there was a second season with all of the popularity. I'm surprised Netflix didn't renew.

I'm getting that feel too. Thai FL here is trying too hard to make herself look cool which makes it seem unnatural and forced. Korean FL just seems like she is acting herself and the chemistry with ML there is like great partners. Happiness is one of my favorite zombie shows so I have high expectations for any adaptation.

I love watching the korean version, but unfortunately both leads here does not have the same chemistry. HHJ was sassy and chill but FL here is too serious. The zombies here is too overly done as in too gory here. I guess it's average so far but it's also hard to outdo the original one too.

I got the idea of how the storyline is heavy, dark and emotionally exhausting. I was hyped of hearing ZLH and WCH pairing since they weren't able to TFF but was on the fence that this project would be their first collaboration. I rather they be in a rom-com or light melodrama.

She won me over with her acting in her last drama the best thing. Hope you gets good projects.

What a gem. Not sure how I missed this one. So much better in terms of acting, chemistry and storyline than his most recent Passionate in Love. The only remark I have is his hairstyle.

Thank you! I've said before too that I don't hold hostility towards the actress personally, I do question her and the director's choice - whatever clauses she has with her agency is their problem and production crew - but I just look at end results and just evaluating it based on the storyline, adaptation to the novel and acting. We can't deny that the intimate scenes are crucial and significant for this show. I don't like arguing with the die-hard fans cause they irrationally defend their idols even if they did a bad job, just one where they openly admitted to never watched the show but came in to police other's opinions irks me to no end. Glad you enjoyed my review!

Haha yeah she's acting like she's controlling her dog who is hopelessly in love with her. That hotel scene zapped all the passion out of him - she's a mood spoiler and you can see it in his eyes lol - they really should rename the title to "passionlessly out of love!"

I hear you. I don't like wishy characters that play mind games and with low EQ. LHC feels so awkward to watch sometimes, she just doesn't do romance well and it shows. When they have a serious moment of starring at each other, she breaks that and just smiles like she enjoys being in control and playing with him. I loved the scene where ML confronted her about her cluelessness.

Lol girl you read my mind. Gu Yan seemed like the better choice. I am head scratching why ML chose to love FL, sometimes I was like he got stuck in some toxic relationship and couldn't get out. FL is emotionally distant and in her own world most of the time, has low EQ and just doesn't give a care in the world. When ML wanted to kiss her in the hotel, she just stopped him, asked him if he ain't mad anymore and told him to go for a jog to calm down. LMAO, like who wrote this? I can't anymore with the director who doesn't seem to know romance.

I don't know about that. I think there was some controversy there in HL but it wasn't as heated there. Interesting it was overshadowed by ZLS acting, I don't usually watch her shows a lot but she really did execute SZ to perfection, felt she just has a knack for the romance genre and she played it very convincing like she was straight out of the novel. FL here felt hard to watch, it was a mismatch to the novel character.

1 - minor love triangle not intense at all just a crush from the third party; 2 - around ep 10 to 11; 3 - they separated when he moved to another country but he came back to stay in the same school as her to get back with her; 4 - happy ending but very bland few episodes.

Have this started filming? I see Alec is the director. This should be interesting. When is this going to air?
