I can point out many flaws in this show but the obvious one is that lack of chemistry between the leads whereas she has more chemistry with SML but whose been an awful king who prioritizes romance than his people. The other one is how green FL's acting is, or lack of, she basically has one expression and a lot of times she just seems immersed in her own little world. The other issue, and it pains me to say it, is the over fixation on the visuals - the frozen in time seconds and the hair blowing in the wind seemingly matters more than the substance of the show.

IU is doing a fantastic job in this show. She's such a versatile actress. BWS gives Sunjae vibes especially with his stares and demeanor.

The storyline sounds interesting but FL was so bland in her previous drama, I'm hoping she can emote better in this drama to show case her character well here. ML just came off from a well-received drama so I'm hoping to see a new side of him and if they can create chemistry here.

I get you. Despite how weirdly obsessed YX is towards CQ, I can't help but feel like they have way more chemistry and looking forward to their scenes. Plus they look visually more compatible as CP. Too bad they have no future and not the end game, maybe they can act together in another project lol.

That's like virtually all romance dramas. As long as they have chemistry and the acting is good, I don't see a problem with 'lite' shipping to support their idol. At the end of the day, it's entertainment. What does bother me is the crazy fans who takes things to the extreme and become intrusive and quite personal in their attacks. I get these entertainment agencies are trying to drum up anticipation but they need to do it in a better way that doesn't sow hatred especially for those obsessed fans. Easier said than done though.

Yeah, I agree that he is suppose to be the ML, that's an obvious major flaw where he seems more like a supporting character. It almost seems like Li Ce gets way more screen time than both ZY and YX.

Show is really good and I don't even know any of the cast. It's so fast-paced and the tug and push between the characters is so addicting to watch along with the visuals. I always seem to pick shows where the ratings isn't that great but its entertaining to watch. What a gem. Give it a chance people.

I had little expectations for this and am not completely sold on the storyline either. It does feel a little like Goong. But what sells is the chemistry and I'd say its pretty good so far. I like IU's portrayal and their chemistry is there, I hope it builds on that part more.

What a depressing show to watch, almost feels torturous, never felt so bummed out to the end. Wish I dropped it earlier cause the ending was blah.

I thought it was ok in the first few episodes but it's just sad, depressing and frankly boring to watch. It had so much potential. I know FL's character is like that, but the acting is not helping she almost feels way too robotic like she can't emote. On top of all that, the storyline is just bad overall. On the verge of dropping but it's close to the end. Incredibly disappointing.

Unpopular opinion but I feel that storyline is moving way too slow and seems like a lot of filler scenes. ZY one of my favorite actresses and anticipated show in a long while which is why I have heavy expectations. Love the 80s retro vibes though.

As much as I like FL and ML, I also really like SML. He also is an eye candy here lol. FL is sometime too depressing to watch and most of the time I feel like she is expressionless and makes me bored of watching her.

It sure does. Feels like an abusive partner who has habitually grabs her neck when he has a bad day.

FL looks like Kim Hye Yoon in some angles and ML needs to stop grabbing women by the neck it's sort of off putting.

Hope he reconciles with Fern for the FL. Unmatched chemistry and best series from legendary of Heat of Stone. When is this expected to film?
