So what's the deal with these POJ shippers, why are they bringing negativity to this show? Was that show so popular that it got to their heads that everything else is inferior? Superiority complex, no? Why spend so much time and energy on hating to bring down the ratings if it's of no interest? I honestly can't understand the mentality here. No offense, I was having a hard time motivating myself to not ff POJ, I was actually bored, not going to lie despite seeing the hype about it. I'm enjoying this show so much, it's kept me hooked in a long while. So maybe I have unique taste in show, but I would so love the idea of pairing WCR and ZLH again to spite these toxic fans haha.

I could care less care about these useless comments from his deranged immature loud fans. It's unfortunate that his fame has brought these dark type of negative obsessed fans. I watch shows if they attract my attention, it's never personal with me with actors/actresses themselves. Just pray they'll have their moment and leave. Just ignore the noise.

Body shame WCR? That's the most bizarre thing. They blind or what? Girl is a classic beauty, good body and facial proportions. in fact, one of the prettiest in her cohort and can act. Tell them to look at themselves in the mirror before they spew toxic sludge first. It just boils down the jealousy, insecurity and possessiveness. No way to reason with them, they are too far gone in their own bubble of delusions.

Yeah visuals are impeccable and flawless but their characters are time bombs and self-destructive.

WHY are they so pretty and handsome? HOW do they match so well on screen? They are like mirror images of each other. I am getting WAY too distracted by their visuals and lost sight of the plot. Have to now re-watch this again to understand what's going on. LOL. I'm so freakin' distracted from their beauty, in a good way.

He has a pretty villain role in Murong Qingyi, it's just that the character was re-written to be more palatable on the show. Actors usually strive towards darker roles once they are popular with the romance genre.

I think there was a whole controversy probably started by Yang Yang's crazy fans, not sure why she was dragged in the mess maybe cause there were rumors they dated and broke up. She gained momentum through her recent projects. Pretty actresses attract admirers and jealous haters.

After seeing WCR and ZLH here, I honestly feel like it's wasted that they don't do a modern rom-com or ancient series together. They match so well visually and acting as well and they hardly take the spotlight from one another. I am mesmerized by her beauty and style, and he's also very charismatic and handsome. I hope they consider one together soon.

I don't know about this movie but how does it even compare to the original masterpiece? I heard it did well in box office but suffers in quality. Watched the trailer but didn't get an ounce of comedy and seems so uninteresting.

SWL has the best chemistry with ZJY, hands down. His acting was rather weak in his previous projects but he really brought out the rawness and a different personality in this show I've never seen him do. ZJY is also a really great versatile actress who doesn't hold back, she definitely brought out his hidden talent. But I also think this gritty action genre suits him and not just a flower boy, this might be his best project in his career so far. He really shined along with ZJY. I need them to collaborate again and bring on that insane chemistry once again.

Get ready for a nose bleed LOL.

Would it have killed them to just add a little scene, oh like you know just a mini-wedding. Otherwise, Perfect drama and best couple of the year!

I'll just skip over to the last question: Epic.

It's been a long time since I watched a solid show like this one. Such natural chemistry and beautiful cinematography that captures the rawness of the characters. Going to miss this show. I hope these two have another project again!

I don't people are hating, I myself set pretty high expectations since they hyped it up so much so I do feel slightly disappointed with how the intro went but it's not a deal breaker cause I still see potential just because I love both main leads. But I do feel everyone has valid criticisms about the editing and execution.

Yup the direction really sucks and I don't even blame on the cast cause I see they are trying. For a big production like this with a stellar cast, it was a complete waste of resources. Get rid of the AI slop and focus on the storyline and direction. Looks like an amateur just doing it on the fly.
