It was pretty well received in korea. Storyline is definitely not boring. Definitely not everyone's cup of the tea but the only difference is that those who don't like kept staying on here and complaining week after week about it.
Yup I was his fan back when he did a phenomenal job in TRS. Didn't have much expectation for this one but he wow'ed me with his performance once again. Man is on fire these days.
This show really started out good but became average a few episodes in. Now, it's kinda going off the rails. But…
Did you watch that fire incident? Situations like that would change anyone. She had a reality check and realize that some things are more important and she didn't want to leave with regret.
They really holding out strangers in the train ost til the finale? Like whhhyyyy? I'm gonna miss KTP and OMS so much. I watch them blossom in each episode. Not ready for the withdrawal :-(
So LJH is having this fan meeting across Asia, I wonder why they didn't include the entire cast. I'd think it would be great to have them on tour, especially Kim Min Ha. They are such a sweet on-screen couple.
I wish the series focused on the business underdog success story and didn't devolve into revenge/interpersonal…
I think this just boils down to taste. I enjoy watching the character development, the chemistry, interpersonal conflicts and romance as well as the business side of things, I think it's a necessary backstory. It's a great mix for me and such a joy to watch. It's a drama, of course they have to incorporate some entertainment value in it but they did a phenomenal job at maintaining that organic-ness of it overall. If it was just purely a business story itself, I'd probably get bored fast.
You can interpret that as being stupid but she was being selfless, knowing how important those goods were for the betterment of the company. Was it rationale what she did? No, but knowing her personality and at the heat of the moment, her reaction to what was a small fire initially, it is not surprising either. As far as I knew, he didn't see anyone inside, he just wanted to burn the place down. He wasn't remorseful afterwards even when his dad said he was an idiot for not thinking of the consequences.
A few lighthearted moments after heavy scenes. TP the peacock, the heart fluttery shell beach scene, the intimate-almost moment ruined by the kid in the car and the strong bond between the Typhoon family. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
I understand that this drama is not flawless but calling it lazy writing is absurd. The drama means a lot to me…
You just have to stop reading negative comments. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I see them lingering here complaining about the show. I would've dropped it if it was causing so much misery each week but to each their own lol. Is it without flaws? Absolutely not but I'm just glad I'm enjoying this show without picking every detail to criticize.
thats stupid he said "i don't beg others. i make other begs me" brah then what you just did in EP13, what…
I think how I interpreted it is that when he begged his son, he was in a desperate state to save the company but after he knew it was futile, he toughened up to the father that starting then, he wouldn't do it anymore.
Such a solid episode today. I like the beach scenes, that was a good moment and an important scene to solidify the leads and supporting characters relationship, it also gave them and me a breather from the troubles at work. It's realistic cause everyone needs to refresh and recharge for the next battle day.
On the other side, man oh man has the evil son gone mad. I foresaw what he was capable of doing in that heated moment, his dad being abusive and triggering him too...I'm hoping for a good finale next week.
If you are talking about that intentional murder scene of father and son, it really is cause the son didn't seem any way remorseful. It's a personality of a psycho killer. It reflects what can possibly happen in an heated event. The way his father went on to praise his son's enemy can be especially triggering, I foresaw what would've happened right away.
I got the idea of how the storyline is heavy, dark and emotionally exhausting. I was hyped of hearing ZLH and…
The two nearly starred together in FF but the project fell through due to delays in production schedule, and at the time WCR was getting negative rumors with YY after starring together in FOMH. The roles eventually went to BJT and ZRN, who nevertheless still did a good job but was disappointed with what could've been with ZHL and WCR. Alas, we have Overdo which I'm still super hyped about despite the theme.
