Maybe you should see what OP wrote and they definitely didn't cut any slack for JH. I maintain my stance on YR, the producer tried to paint her as do no bad protagonist and in some ways try to make the current relationship as it should have been meant to be. It's off putting and I can't brush off that feeling. I also never painted YR as a villain she's far from that, it's your assumption. She's flawed too, maybe less than JH but the producer is covering all of that up and branding JH as the pitiful jealous antagonistic character.
YR never opened up to JH, this caused a lot of misunderstanding, so didn't JH, that's why she also admitted herself she is flawed. At least she was honest about it. YR hid her feelings, sure she didn't act on it, but in reality, she stayed close to him and they have this ambiguous friendship. Yeah I can't help but raise an eyebrow if I was JH looking at it as an outsider while not seeing what went on those 7 years those two growing so close while harboring the memories.
Maybe it's just sucks that this guy got into the picture and ruined everything but maybe it's what needed to break this fragile illusionary friendship they thought they had. JH has to find peace at this point and she has to find the confidence to make some hard decisions.
why protecting jh makes her the hero ? ๐also when jh did the same there was no such remarks also people said…
who's putting her as evil? she's far from that. peeps just looking on the surface level. jh is just a troubled character due to her circumstance. in no way is yr a better one.
Neither was YR. She had secret thoughts of kissing JP at the time when JH was dating him. C'mon YR wasn't all that innocent in this. She just never opened up about it and stayed close to her ex. Now she's dating openly with him. Yeah some true friend.
I'm saying all this time that YR is not all that. I don't feel any chemistry with her and JP and their whole confession and timing is way off and can't feeling irked off by them. JH is imperfect and she admits that, for some reason I do side with her and I empathized with her situation much more. Did she make wrong decisions? Sure she did. But she is more of a layered character and that rain scene made me really feel with her traumas.
show deserves all the love, it has some serious 90s vibes - lovely OST tracks - am loving that train music and of course the opening song is so easy to listen to. it is relatable and not over the top.
Although romance isn't the main focus, I find myself drawn towards the undeniable chemistry with the main leads. They are essentially complete opposites in lifestyles but with each episode the gap closes in between them.
This show is not that great and the fashion and makeup is atrocious. ML seems disrespectful and childish too. FL is demanding and narcissistic. No chemistry either.
Jun ho is such a natural versatile talent. Enjoyed his acting since Red Sleeve. Him in a 90s series with nice dance moves, his hair highlights and his fashion vibes is like cherry on top.
yeah after watching the most recent episode. I don't really like all 3 main leads. YR is not all the innocent…
They all need a Yeong Sik in their lives to give them solid advice. I find them all too immature, so much of their issues, be in friendship and romantic, can be resolved through good communication but all of them are guilty for creating misunderstandings by hiding their true intentions. These cracks in their bond was left unaddressed, brewing on for more than 7 years. That's not true friendship, its just a mirage they paint themselves out for others to see.
Yeah it's so ridiculous, they could live out their own lives without fighting for a boring wooden-like ML.
Yeah I never felt YR is as innocent as she paints herself on the exterior. She just hides her true feelings good. She had 7 years to confess and start a relationship and this is on him too, but they did nothing but continued this atypical relationship of "friends with benefits." If JH hadn't returned, they would have stayed that way longer. YR feels JP is attainable now and she has equal chance to win him over compared to before and may have felt JH is a real threat to "stealing" her crush so she decided to compete with her friend now. She just irks me now with her selfish thinking.
YR also doing same thing to dady long legs but your eyes won't see it. You are really funny ๐.
Friend with benefits. ๐ Seriously, he is a player without realizing it. The mix signals. The best thing the two girls can do is walk away from this frozen meat. ๐
I don't care if anyone bashes on me but i lowkey hate yr so much the fact that back then she gave up her love…
You are not alone. I didn't YR's character since before the time skip. Just that the fact that she's daydreaming them kissing while technically her best friend was still dating him. The fact that she was so passive about her thoughts it's almost construed like she is stealing her friend's boyfriend. Didn't she say to herself that she gave up the crush before but then continues their ambiguous relationship years after. It seems like she is lying to herself all these years. Anyone in JH's shoes will be feeling something too watching them two all close.
Everyone sucks in this drama, and thatโs pretty humane, YR is not a total angel that can do no wrong, JH is…
yeah after watching the most recent episode. I don't really like all 3 main leads. YR is not all the innocent either yet they paint her looking like a lost puppy most of the time, and I find her storyline way too boring. I find JH materialistic for her own good, she should leave the rich controlling mother but I find that she is way too deep in the pampered luxurious life. She's not perfect but I get her envy for YR, she literally has everything, good friends/family/career and potential suitors. She's a flawed character but very much self-aware so I feel more for her predicament. JP is indecisive and wooden-like. honestly, not feeling this love-triangle.
Man this drama is getting so predictable. It's clearly going into the YR and JP end game direction. JH already botched her relationship with JP so I don't get how she can just waltz in their lives and think everything is rosy and peaches. She most likely will go solo and that's okay cause it's fitting for her carefree character.
