It definitely surpassed that. I'm seeing at least 25% in ratings. Much deserved just for PD-nim's laughter in the background.

Omo, ratings are off the charts for the finale. Are we suppose to get some bonus segment or what?

I spoiled myself by watching those clips. But I was prepared for the sad ending and a crash course on the history of these two lovers so I was surprised that I was not bawling for it. But it definitely has a melancholy feel on the last episode. What a tragic life for the both of them and makes me think that DI would have maybe lived longer if she didn't marry San. I noticed that San regrets putting her in this position and will live through his life with regret that he caused her death. However, I think DI made her decision without regret cause she loved him. She could go on without him but she's basically San's rock and he is broken without her. I wish the cute baby got to live so DI wouldn't fall sick and they will still be a happy family. High child mortality back then too. A beautiful tragic story and I can't believe it is based on a true story.

That is cute. It's like he was dolling himself up and waiting in the room prettily for his long-awaited lover. ^^

I can envision that it will be alot of reminiscing scenes from the King's perspective cause she was the light at the end of the tunnel and he found happiness with her only. That will surely get the viewers all teary-eyed.

They should have just made it a even number and just extend it to the default of 20 episodes. 17 is just such an "odd" number. It's one of those series where I really didn't mind if they drag it a few more episodes to show DK's life as a concubine and how she adjust to her new title. To cram everything in 2 back to back episodes is kind of wasted imo. Oh well, hopefully it doesn't feel rushed. We shall see.

By far, the best version is j-drama, short and sweet to cover the entire plot. I watched K-version which was ok but very draggy and tried watching a few episodes from the other versions (c-version thai version) but dropped it cause I can't stand how exaggerated it was.

is this a joke? i can't even begin, what a ridiculous plot. It's like they are questioning everyone's intelligence. i have no idea why CEW would even accept this script since it seems like a step down. I liked his improvement after TB. if someone actually read this one, please share if it's as silly as it sounds.

She looks cute either way but I liked that she kept the simple ponytail at the end with the freckles. Its shows her confident new self with her casual comfortable clothes but still fashionable with minimal makeup.

ML does have a very nice voice accompanied by his walk and stylish fashion makes it better. FL is not bad herself but her fashion style can be kind of off sometimes.

Seems like a good feel drama but lacks a good storyline and the FL is pretty but her acting is very off and raw. Short episodes so I'll see the next few shows signs of any improvement.

She does mention that's maybe why she got mouth ulcers and was depressed about it during filming and Kento bought her some medication which was really nice of him. She even teases him that he NGs alot cause he says his lines in a sexy way. Lol they are too cute and funny.

I don't really care about the ratings. I know I loved it and gave it 10/10. Others who gave a lower rating are probably those who did not give it more than 1-2 episodes and are missing out on this gem. It only gets better from there. By far, the best version so far with nice touch of romance, drama, friendship and comedy. Such a nice summer drama. I found it a little short but it did not drag for me to skip any scenes, just cause I love all the chemistry between the actors and actresses.

Big 'sexy' thank you for all those who subbed the videos. It was awesome while it lasted. Hopefully we see subbed variety shows and interviews from the cast as well. They are all too cute and funny.

Lol. Someone needs to remind them there are 10 episodes in the drama. What's up with them they are usually pretty good with timing, something feels wrong.

Am I thinking that the director cut out scenes cause I saw some in the preview but didn't show up in the final episode. Maybe it'll be on the DVD set. Also I am confused about the teaser photos that show the main leads dressed up working at a hotel. Is it for SP? I miss the cast already :-(
