End of drama. My favourite character prize goes to.... the owner of Solution.... Son Jang Mi for her comical presence 🫶
Message to FL: the guy saved you so many times (from freezing to death in a container, from burning to death in a fire, giving you a bug detector which you never thought of, what else?) but you don't seem to appreciate him and behave like you're doing him a favour by finally accepting him?? You're a cold one.
One thing I've learnt from watching such bi-weekly dramas is it's better to watch them after they've completed their run than when they're ongoing, especially if you're concurrently watching other dramas. Every week I struggle to remember some of the characters (not mains) and certain parts of the story 🤣🤣
I'm now at ep 10. I like the occasional humourous moments in this drama, such as when they were asked to "whoa,…
I just finished the drama. I'll certainly be catching season 2 when it comes out later this year. I hope they'll have the same Hanbada team (but it's ok if they decide to leave out that MCP Attorney Jang, not Jung). Besides the acting and story, I think they did a good job on the CGIs of the whales and dolphins 🐳🐋🐬 Haha what a subject to be fixated on. Now I'm craving for some gimbap too 😋
I'm now at ep 10. I like the occasional humourous moments in this drama, such as when they were asked to "whoa, whoa" each other, the "Son Heung Min" in the village, WYW acting like a whale/dolphin twisting her hands to the back to show its fin, Mr Hairy using a brocolli as a telephone and WYW being "chivalrous" to Jun-ho (she doesn't know her context LOL).
But, of course, the main thing that makes this drama memorable is Park Eun-bin's portrayal of an autistic person. She's really quite extraordinary herself. How in the world does she speak that fast? 😊 This drama gives me a good glimpse into an autistic person's world.
That being said though, it doesn't really make you want to quickly see what the next episode holds (the drama equivalent of a page turner). Each episode is a new case and a little development in her personal life. Besides WYW, there are a few other likeable characters like Lee Jun-ho (he's cute), Choi Su-yeon and Jung Myeong-seok.
Are there any Korean speakers here? In ep 4, there's this joke about the grandfather's name being Dong Won-bin and that's supposed to be funny. Since I don't understand the language, the joke's lost on me. Can someone kindly explain? TQ.
If Yul Seong isn't the killer than the next obvious suspect is his mother. Honestly I didn't even think to question…
Alternatively, could it be the professor who killed her? Remember he was blackmailed by NYS over some video and it must have been something very serious for him to decide to take his life over it.
Ah that grandma-in-law.... every time I see her I'd be wondering why her grey hair has this purplish tint LOL
Yup, Grandma Purple is the exact opposite of LHW's mum-in-law who's too kind and too considerate and too thoughtful (emphasis on the word "too"). If she wasn't so thoughtful, a lot of misunderstandings could be averted like her son (JC) having second thoughts about BDE (thinking that's she's good). And that SD seriously needs glasses. He calls that an angel?? More like the devil LOL. When she screams, she purposely floats up her tongue! It's so sickening to see.
I need to go back and check for sure but here's how I understand it. The five member society are trying to cash…
Thanks, Ivy. I don't really get these: 1. What video did NYS use to blackmail the professor (ep. 7)? Escape or die or I'll show this to your wife and daughter. 2. The prof wants his investment back from the group but the prosecutors are investigating on the NYM case (not law schools). So why is he so anxious to get his money back? 3. Why is NYS so afraid to have his affair with NYM exposed that he quickly divorces his second wife? 4. If the exchange between NYS and the prof is through a call (not text), how did KSR and DKJ figure that out? Maybe I should just watch and don't think too much 😅
Nice drama if you're looking for some light entertainment. The characters are generally all very likeable especially A-reum and Ji-hun. I enjoy seeing those two whenever they're in the wedding gown storage chamber. I didn't like Derek so much in the beginning but towards the end, I felt bad for the guy. The revelation about who's the boss of Helmes was unexpected and good. The Interpol chief is funny.
I'm in the process of dropping it haha. All the characters in this drama are quite sickening to watch. Unless you're a fan of any one of them, then you may want to watch. I'll just watch until I can't stand it anymore and only when I have time to waste.
I've just finished ep 8. Does anybody find it wierd that the lady on wheelchair suddenly started walking like a normal person? I thought she is disabled. It was kinda unexpected to see her walking out of a sudden, but none of the other characters seem to find the sudden change unexpected.
I'm also curious about the guy in the Interpol team. Are they trying to portray him as a Muslim? That's a skull cap he's wearing, right? Not a beanie? But in one episode, he talked about eating pork and he also drinks soju.
Ep. 14 - I just love the 👀 on the bandages. They're hilarious 😂
Ep 12: Now Ji Chang also believes BDE's good girl crap?! Like father, like son. Dumb. Don't LHW and/or her MIL have mouths? They couldn't tell their husbands about what BDE did during that public talk? They don't have phones to record her antics? How about the tomato juice thing? Dumb.
I don't know why they cast this actress for the older sister role. Maybe it's not nice to say but she seems more suitable for a maternal role than a newly-wed 🤷♀️
HW isn't the b*tchy type so probably what she said was for HJ's own good like "you'll be better off with mum". That's why HJ instantly agreed to go with their mum. Now she's so spiteful becoz she feels she got cheated, but what she doesn't know is HW also had a hard life with her late stepmum. So fast-fwd to ep 103, the 2 sisters may finally feel sorry for each other and hug and cry. The end haha.
You mean the younger sister (BDE) aiming at the elder sister's husband? I find BDE overly b*tchy. She already ruined the older lady's marriage but still needs to cause her more grievance through her job at the gallery. She is a top-notch b*tch haha.

Message to ML: You deserve better.
