In a nutshell He’s with him because he can’t have the big actor and there’s a strong resemblance being a stunt double. Then the split, then he goes missing to come back sometime later in a different body determined to win back the other. I don’t know how the drama is going to play it off but the book wasn’t terribly heavy. It’s been awhile since I read it, think about 75 other books later. 😂 So I can’t go into depth for you on it but I do remember enough to be excited for the series. It can be quite confusing at times and require one to backup and reread a portion to be sure what they just read was correct. There were times I’d scratch my head and wince before rereading a passage.
I read this novel a while back and I’m excited for this BL. I hope they do it justice as there is a lot of emotion for me tied up in this. Joe is ❤️. Ming? Well, he’s a bit obtuse but not a bad guy.
Unfortunately it's part of that life. It comes with the territory, and they'll just have to deal with it.
They do deal with it, that’s why they have PR people. They know going in it’s part of the price they pay to be famous but I believe it’s being taken too far when they take their lives because of the pressure they feel. I know it’s only one aspect and there are likely other issues but there does come a point where it’s too intrusive.
"Itt was raped by Day" NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE. Whoever is STILL romanticizing rape, should have…
These books were some of the toughest reads I’ve ever experienced. Day’s revenge for his brother. ALL the books in this series are rough, not just the ones associated with Day and Itt. The screen can not play out what is written. Those books, every single one of them will tear at your soul.
This kind of prying is what leads to the mental health issues that’s in one of the other articles on this site. Jeez. Leave them alone and let them have a private life. They make music and series or movies, we don’t own them body and soul. They’re human beings with a right to be themselves. They should be able to date and fall in love. Maybe then the y wouldn’t be smiling at the cameras and dying on the inside.
I read a review above talking about how this showed a “love cures all”. That is not how I saw this series. King had his flaws, he didn’t do everything right with the plans but what he did do was support Uea. Uea went into counseling so the turning off the lights wasn’t due to King’s love and support alone but Uea working through counseling, taking his medication and King giving him his support. This isn’t a soft romcom because I cried. I cried over Uea’s treatment as a child and how it led to his feelings of submission as an adult. Why? Not just for a character but for those who live it. Watch this series. Its is by no means a disappointment. You’ll be angry, sad and happy but not disappointed
anyone can tell me if its really toxic?? like stalking etc...
I don’t see him as toxic. He’s written as being shy and feeling he’s undeserving. Truthfully it will make some people think of themselves, I know it did me. I didn’t do the pics etc but I didn’t approach and only looked from afar because I felt nerdy and awkward. He does have weird tendencies but they aren’t toxic
it's episode 8 and he is still acting clueless and naive and frail.... and like he doesn't know the general manager…
Being a realistic, intimate scenes don’t have to happen for miscommunication and cluelessness to go away. I think that in itself is a misconception that once it’s realized people need the hard core stuff. Not true but we do need progression and seeing people in regular circumstances without all the dodging and shyness especially if a line has already been crossed. That irritates me. Slapping and screeching when someone takes your hand or touches your cheek. 🤨 Get some growth. I rant now so I’ll stop. 😂
guys, I love hometown cha-cha-cha, should I watch meet yourself?
Oh gosh yes!! It was the first series I anxiously waited for a new episode to drop, the other being LLTG. It’s so realistic, not far fetched at all. I even had my sister who doesn’t like subtitles watch and she called saying it was the best she’s watched in a long time.
