I plan to watch this drama. Kindly give me some spoilers regarding:1. When are the main couple officially together?2.…
Based on your questions, this drama may not be a good fit because it’s not really romance driven. It’s more of a realistic drama that does not follow the typical formula.
The major problem of this dram is the writing of shipping. Because of the writing everyone wanted FL to be with…
This drama depicts life and the situations in a more realistic way. We don't have the conventional love at first sight and sticking through all for that love. Instead, we have the love at first sight but as we grow, life circumstances and reality of who we are reveal that it's not gonna work out. We also have the love/repulusion at first sight but somewhere along the way, the relationship grows. Neither one is right nor wrong it's what's she decides is best for her. I actually rooted for the relation ship with the 2ML but realized that his hesitation and inability to stand up for her just wasn't gonna work out. As for the ML, yes, he's an immature man child, however, his fierce defense of justice and humanity is what wins her heart. Also, in a way they complement each other well - kinda like opposite characters.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to finally write the review for this today. I always feel very unfinished if I don’t…
Take your time to recover. I wrote mine while watching because I felt compelled to at the time. After a few days to think about it, I would still stand by my review and with the weaker ending.
Just finished ep25 and I am somewhat frustrated.FL said that she'll leave to see other places. This sounded exciting.…
She misses her home and decides to revisit but new clues on her parent's death is leading her to solve this case. Cannot move on until there is closure.
Ep 36 Wrapped everything neatly. This last part of the crime solving plot feels bare boned and a bit underwhelming. This many be the weakest part of the drama for me as it spent all this time building up the plot to the climax.
However, where the drama shines for me is drawing out emotions and moods in the scenes through the combination of cinematography, set, costuming and music.
Ex: The dreamy cell scene with LS & QML was beautifully shot with the calm moonlight radiating through the cell windows behind them.
Overall, I still enjoyed it especially with the ending for out coup,e.
Hahaha … these last two episodes left us with little room to breathe. What do you think about the production…
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad to see his final demise but I feel like him being consumed by his madness is a tad rushed? I mean, he’s been so calculating and on top of everything. For him to fall apart like that. Why so eager to please Lui? Why so surprised he was betrayed? He had been wary of him all along.
This show is very serious. Not for the faint of heart. Ep 34 got me cringing too!
There was a scene not involving girls but quite ruthless. Reminds me about the cruelty of the ancient dynasties when they would torture their enemies. I remember reading about it at a museum.
These last two eps showed QY’s character having absolutely no redeeming qualities. It doesn’t explore the reason behind it though.

Glad they released these episodes.
What do you think about the production teams handling of QY’s trajectory?

I am very sorry for the trauma you suffered from.
