Rewatch time. These eps are so good. I started rewatching from ep 1 yesterday. Realized that a lot happened in the first ep even though at the same time it felt idyllic w/ the development of the setting. What a feast for the eyes and senses.

I replayed that scene multiple Times. The background the action everything was perfect.

The fighting choreography. The ost. The fact that they’re all there. The directing. The pacing. A lot of dramas may have one or two strong elements but few complete packages.

If you’re loving POJ, then you’ll most likely enjoy blossom b/c director directed both. He’s GOOD.

Yes, the rectangular top was a trend at the time. First time I’ve seen it myself so I dug around to see whether this was historical or just creative liberties.

Different ppl have different tastes. The directing could improve but overall, still a good watch. Just some folks don’t enjoy it.

Yes,great points. I was just thinking about how underused the action is. They’re supposed to be battling for control of the Li sect but it’s kinda underwhelming.. mostly just talk. Funny thing is, there was more action at the first few chapters but ppl got overwhelmed. Now, we need more action. 🤣 oh well, I’m still enjoying it and will continue to follow it.

I’m sure if this was before the 40 ep limit era, we may get the fleshed out previous gen stories and have an epic 80 ep drama or something.

There are plenty who are enjoying the drama, myself being one of them. Just scroll through the comments. It’s not perfect and some of the complaints are valid (pacing and directing) however, it’s still enjoyable.
