Yes. He knew the collaboration wasn’t going to work out and had a backup plan (got funding from the brother and sister) w/ Yan’s help). The father did not trust him before (biased against him based on his past behavior. This can be seen in the board meeting where he dismissed his son’s concern about the collaboration. The son gave him a choice, meet my terms and I’ll stay i with the company and head this account. Otherwise, I’ll start my own company and take this account w/me. r). Now, seeing how capable his son is, he’s agreeing to his son’s terms and plans.

Also, at the beginning of their relationship, we see more affection from him. As it progresses, we see less of it and more of the transactions. Starting from when she wanted to help him w/ his business.
Ep 4 - this has been a great drama thus far. The acting is great. The costume and set is gorgeous. The story is engaging, suspenseful, and humorous. The ending ost is lovely.
Also, if I were to select the cast, I would replace Maggie with an actress who could speak English with an American accent (She is supposed to have grown up in America). It was embarrassing that other actors (even the police officer who gave her a drink) spoke English better than her.
A very engaging enjoyable watch. Great acting from everyone, not just the ML. Loved SY, plays MYZ. I bet if I rewatch, I’d pick up more details and clues I missed the first time around.
