I feel bad for the adorable Princess. She's so sweet to YX, helped him every time she can and remained on his side against her parents' wishes. She's innocent. It's not her fault her dad is a madman.
YWY: Do you remember me?
me: flips everything, leave her YWY and come to me ;(
That's true. She is actually in love with him but is furious with him for what she found out, which he never clarified. You can see it in their flashbacks when he put down her sword and she picked it up. Only romantic moments.
YWY: Do you remember me?
me: flips everything, leave her YWY and come to me ;(
Hahahahaha... the way he said it, so funny. I look forward to seeing that on Monday :D
But I feel so bad for him, there is so much misunderstanding on her part about him. He's so happy that she is still alive but she doesn't seem that happy to see him.
Yan Xun ah... Your mother is so dignified and courageous. Her strength is inspiring, until she decided to die…
I agree that this is just a show so there's no need for anyone to get personal about it in their responses. Thus, why I took the time to clear up some misunderstandings so we can all enjoy this show together with no one being rude henceforth. Should not be considered as being worked up, I hope? Anyways, I hope enough has been said about this situation and we can all enjoy this show and feel free to express our opinions without attacking or being attacked.
Yan Xun ah... Your mother is so dignified and courageous. Her strength is inspiring, until she decided to die…
Granted that everyone that matters in this series has lost a lot. Xing'er, but she did not end up using those who care about her, she ends up protecting them. Sadly, even those two sisters she's protecting, does not seem to care about her as much or are completely loyal to her. YWY, we are going to find out what he lost in the next episodes it seems, grew up in difficult circumstances where he had to be careful and where his actions are being watched and restrained, still tries to help where he can, without letting his situation controlling him. Without losing himself and his good nature. Granted that YX wants his revenge on those who harmed his family - they were extremely cruel - but a difference must be made between those who harmed and those who tried to help (but could not help or only in secret) instead of assuming they are all his enemies. He is sweet to Xing'er now, but I don't like the information I gathered about how he's going to turn out. YWY on the other hand cares more about Xing'er, but he does not know how to show, and perhaps in a way he's trying to protect her by keeping his feelings to himself, or he doesn't know what he feels yet.
I did not like the execution of those scenes. The production spend almost two episodes torturing YX. What I did not understand is why he continued to go up, while he was already shot down twice. Does he not start to think about a strategy that works? His family died, but Xing'er is still alive, so if not to protect himself, he should not put her in more danger than she already is. Besides, what's the point of crying? All he did was cry and go up, and be beaten down, and continue to cry. But does that solve his problems? In fact, the emotional stage probably prevented him from thinking clearly. Usually when one cries, one stops at some point to rationalise and think about a solution. What do I want to get out of it and how do I keep my loved ones safe? If he wanted to die with his family, he could have done so with less hassle. But I don't think that was his intention. So how should he get out alive so he can get his revenge, without his loved one being killed just to hurt him more? I was therefore very relieved when I saw his mother arriving. Her lines were full of strength, wisdom, and inspiration. She was dignified and courageous. I get that maybe this is a more feminist series with his mother and Xing'er's character and I like this trend in bringing up young girls in China. But then she died, or at least she seemed to have died, but she woke up to speak to her son again? The execution of that scene seemed rather unbelievable, and thus not very realistic.
These are my interpretations, and perhaps because of my own taste and personality. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, just like that I have my own opinion and can therefore not agree with every other person. We came here to share our interest in this series, and to share our opinion. In a way to help each other with the feelings this series created in us. It is therefore of utmost importance that we respect that difference in opinion so we keep this atmosphere pleasant. Personal attacks or offensive remarks should be excluded. Definition of "offensive": https://www.google.nl/search?q=define+offensive&oq=define+offensive&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60j69i61l3j69i59.3748j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
For example, rude and disrespectful. Quote: "Realistic? When life gets tough. Do you even know what Yan xun went through?"
Or hostile and belligerent. Quote: "If any of that happened to you will you not cry? Will you not resent someone who killed your whole family."
I would not apologise insincerely just to throw more offensive remarks at someone for no reason. Quote: "I don't understand how that comment came across as offensive to you in any way, or maybe you are just the type to be offended easily. Either way I apologize, but I stand my ground on what I said. Maybe I'm just not as critical as you are, or perhaps your standard and expectations are just unrealistic."
I thought it is extremely strange to receive such rude remarks while I came here to share my interest with all of you. Perhaps it is just the way people around me and I communicate, which made me feel that the examples provided above were rude and offensive.
This series is interesting as it has made a lot of us think because of what happened to the characters we like. The cruelty since episode 1 reminded me of a quote from Thucydides, which might be termed as the most realist perception of the theory of Realism: "The strong will do what they have the power to do and the weak accept what they have to accept." Although I appreciate a lot of assumptions of Realism, I grew up believing that one should neither abuse its rights and privileges nor accept its fate; one can be responsible for its own destiny and should be responsible in the execution of one's freedom. In this series I've seen four kinds of people: 1. The Bully or the Follower; 2. The Defender; 3. The Fighter; 4. The Victim. 1 and 2 are the different kind of people in power; 3 and 4 are the different kind of people who are unprivileged. I see YWY as the Defender and Xing'er as the Fighter.
Im really confused with the ending. This episode didn't seem like the last episode. There were so many things…
At the very end there is the explanation in English: http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/showthread.php/40382-Legend-of-Dragon-Pearl-2017-Long-Zhu-Chuan-Qi-龙珠传奇 :)
Are there any decent subs for this drama? because the ones i find are barely understandable, the show is confusing…
About YouTube, what do you do with the commercials? Can you get rid of them somehow? Until now, I could only avoid them by watching on my phone, but the screen is so small so I ended up downloading instead.
There's needs to be a second season. I wanted to see more of dong hua and feng jiu
Me too, I actually cried for them and not for the main couple. I saw on YouTube that they are producing another series about DH and FJ, but that they are not sure whom to cast...
I'm on episode 5 and I'm thinking of dropping it. Someone convince me otherwise.
I too thought the beginning was too slow but at some point it got so interesting that after I finished, I decided to rewatch the beginning and relevant scenes.
I'm so fucking sad right now. I watched this mostly because of Dong Hua and Feng Jiu. It was painful to see…
Thanks for sharing the link! But it's so long... I will wait for the series to come out. Hoping for the same cast, as their chemistry was amazing and both portrayed their role so well that I cannot imagine anyone else playing them.
I feel so bad for Yuwen Yue. I should be feeling bad for Yan Xun, but I am just like poor Yuwen Yue.
Yeah, I feel bad for him too. He's actually doing good and end up being blamed. I can understand how his work in that secret keeping mystery house (i.e. die zhe tian yan - don't know the English translation) shaped him as well. It was so cool how he gladly passed it on to his cousin, who broke down in fear. YWY's strength is impressive.

It must be extremely hard for him to survive with such an emperor, who is also keeping a close eye on him. I don't know what happened to the rest of his family?
I am not sure if the link works, as it looks different on my screen/the line for websites. You can type in Google search: "watch and download 楚乔传 Princess Agents [episode number]" some websites are closed after a week so if this one stops working by next week, you can use a new search.
If you have Google Chrome, you can download Zenmate for free, where you can change your location.
I'm very a-technical in general but this I know :P

I agree. He once used a quote saying not everything we see as it is is true, but then more beautifully phrased. But the poor guy only state the facts and never explains what he really did. Yet, he remains a good person internally, which is so rare. I really appreciate his character, he bears all the responsibilities and difficulties without complaint.
But I feel so bad for him, there is so much misunderstanding on her part about him. He's so happy that she is still alive but she doesn't seem that happy to see him.
Have a nice day!
