Just binge watched until the latest episode. Which days are the new ones airing?

I honestly can't remember. Saw it on YouTube before her latest show. She said HuGe is someone she would like to work with.

Despite the disappointing ending, it is a good show compared to many others. I like how Xing'er is strong and that there is actually strength in her character and voice. May she be an example to young girls and boys growing up that we can rise above harsh circumstances. We have a choice in life.

I want to thank this show for bringing so many people together; some are starting to feel like friends I know for a long time. Thank you for this journey and I hope we meet again through another show. Feel free to add me and happy watching. :)

(Just finished watching the finals.)

Just picked this up. The acting is a bit fake until now (first 15 mins), does it get any better? Is it worth watching? I liked some other dramas from Liu Shi Shi, but I'm not impressed yet.

YWY is so sweet. I want a man like him

She explained to him that she and YX finally got to where they are now (referring to the three years they waited). She cannot be wilful, or be stirred up by emotions (probably for him, YWY). That she does not know what YX is going through in Yan Bei and that he still needs her. So he kissed her and asked if she could feel that he needs her too. That was such a masterly move, which left them both pondering. Eventually, she has to see through her initial decision to help YX - after what happened to him 3 years ago, she cannot just abandon him, not even if he is just a friend. She is a loyal person, just like her not abandoning Xiu Li Jun army, and stayed to defend the city. She actually wanted to make Yan Bei her home, partly because slavery is already abolished there. So all the experiences that shaped her character and decision making. She could not start afresh and be free to choose YWY like everything else never happened. It's going to take YX's betrayal and change to change her, because she's not the kind to betray anyone. Only then will she leave YX and join YWY without guilt. Until that city, she still trusted YX, until she found out how secretly he strategised to take revenge, willing to sacrifice the entire Yan Bei and its people. She always thought she was helping him to come home and to establish his position. Never thought he used her all this time so he could take revenge. She was heartbroken, which came out in that flute scene, with the boy, and the confrontation with that girl (can't remember her name) whom YX sent to take Chu Qiao away from that city. She wondered if he's still the YX she knew, but she probably only knew the part he was with her. The part he showed her.

How is the story, acting and production of this one? Thinking about picking this up because of HXM, but only 7.1 and it's still airing?

If you look at the kiss scene, at some point he was more intense, you saw his hand clinching her shoulder. She responded by clinching her dress. At the end of the kiss, her eyes were closed too. The scene that followed with Xiao Ce telling her: there are many paths in life; if you have chosen one, you must give up the other path. Seeing her tormenting herself, being torn between two men.

She's so beautiful... I mean her integral, courageous and kind personality. Is this show ending after 4 more episodes, leaving the rest for Part II, with potentially, and probably another cast?

I just wanted to post that too! What a speech... I'm so looking forward to tomorrow's episodes but I'll be so busy that I might not be able to watch it until later :(

I think he meant the rolling in bed under the blanket ;) I suspect they fight all the time because they want any excuse to get some physical contact.

According to a video, which I found whilst watching the previews, it was mentioned that the network changed the formats of the episodes, thus why the actual episode (so minus preview, "last episodes-summary," soundtracks) is only about 30 minutes, so they series takes more time to broadcast on their TV sender. Apparently, they do that often with popular series. I don't know about the details or if its true. In that video, they said that the drama is much slower than what was initially intended. So a lot more should have happened apparently.

I like what @silvermcv wrote; indeed, if you don't mind being patient about the romance development, and you like to see the main lead becoming a strong leader while she started as a slave, and the male lead basically supporting her secretly out of such deep love, then you'll like the romance. I think their romance is beautiful, but I don't mind seeing more scenes like next weeks preview ;)
