it was hinted at in s1! after s1 ended people were also speculating that that drunk game confession was probably…
I almost forgot that Ik Jun was married, lol. He makes a perfect single dad. But yes I can see why Song Hwa could be anxious about getting together with him. But I have to commend Ik Jun too, he's being really patient and not really expecting anything back. But I think everything is gonna end nicely.

On Hospital Playlist Season 2 Jul 17, 2021
This episode was an actual surprise for me, the story didn't go one bit the way the I thought it would. Jun Wan and Ik Jun did break up, for good. But I still (at least I want to) believe that Ik Sun didn't betray Jun Wan and they broke up due to trust issues as Jun Wan accepted it readily when she said that. Sukhyung is getting character development and coming out of his shell but I'm not sure if he'll date Min-Ha. Persistent confessions don't pay off unless he actually develops some feelings for her. Winter couple is going steady, but they added a bit of suspense introducing gyeol's mom's hasty call, ofc it could be nothing. And I am finally giving up on Ik Jun and Song Hwa ship, I really wanted them to get together but they keep teasing us each and every episode. Now it's on my mind that they'll end up lifelong friends like Jung Won's mom and the Hospital Chief, not that it's bad. Plus they're way happy the with how they are right now, and unless there's a major incident I doubt something will change.

This has really mediocre ratings, but i still liked it. It was realistic and the story valued friendship more than relationships. I want to give this somewhere b/w 8-8.5 as ratings.

Title The Call Spoiler
Oh this was horrifying and awesome. But I didn't understand the ending. And if I were to make sense of it it'd be stupid as this movie violated both variations of time-travel. 1. If history changes, current timeline is not affected but past branches into two separate timelines. And 2. There is only one timeline, if past changes current is also affected. The movie used 2 well most sci-fi movies do, but the thing is there are so many important things left out. Like if past is changing, current self should have a new set of memories like what happens next which doesn't happen here. Anyways I agree with most interpretations that yeong sook killed the cop and mom and kept seo Yeon alive torturing her. For the ending though, I think either yeong sook killed her in the past and she meets her mom in heaven OR yeong sook and her mom both died in the past and she is now in a psychiatric ward as it's already been told she sealed off her memories before in case of her dad's death.

So the best friends are in love with each other? I guess everything is a wrong timing for them along with the fact they aren't acknowledging their own feelings.

My questionsWhy did Ik Sun lied to Jun Wan?Is it because of Ik Jun's words or her illness? Or are we yet to find…
So many questions, I'll answer some of them based on my opinion. Yep Ik Jun knew about the relationship I suspected that first when in S1 Jun Wan came over to his house to watch over his son with Ik Sun and he almost caught them. Next, he told that Jun Wan was walking around eggshells around Ik Sun not as a joke but because it was the truth, on every call the topic gradually shifts to what's happening in Ik Sun's life and Jun Wan gets left out. The same happened when Jun Wan's surgery was successful and he wanted to share the good news with Ik Sun but got cut off when she told him she faced racism that day. He looked surprised at Ik Sun's request could be two things he was conflicted whether to choose friendship over sibling relationship OR it might have been because he was surprised that they broke up (temporarily) or were in a fight serious enough to not tell this big a thing. I don't remember the ep9 of S1 so no comments on that.

I commented this 6 days ago: idk why. I feel she's cheatingand something similar happened
I am most definitely sure she isn't and the number one reason is she has been cheated on so she knows how much it hurts and number two is Jun Wan is a close friend of her brother, if she was cheating, and Ik Jun found about it, it'd terribly damage their relationship also.

People keep blaming the woman when something bad happen to the relationship. Disappointed but not surprised. How…
Trust me, we are, at least I so not blaming the woman here. To show it, just imagine what the comment section would have been in a vice versa case. Like Ik Sun in Korea, Jun Wan studying in England and possibly living with a girl and claimed she was her closest friend there and hanging out with her all the time. It would have ranged from bast***, f**, Playboy, cheater and what not when he was maybe just doing nothing. Compared to that, this is nothing. I am more focused that she's hiding things than who she's living with. I mean with a name like an opposite gender, I think it's just manners to subtly point out the gender, otherwise you can blame your partner becoming confused. And Jun Wan's not without faults, I for one thought the ring was a bit much when she specifically said she didn't want to marry. But in this case this definitely is her fault, and I am not being biased in calling her out for it.

Best friend being a guy is not the problem. Living in same house with a guy without informing your husband is…
She didn't lie. She just didn't tell. It's like finding a loophole in a contract. But the main thing is it doesn't matter what gender the roomie is. What matters is she didn't tell him who she's living with and who are friends are, like no pictures even. Yes Jun Wan could have asked their genders, but then he would have come off as jealous which I don't suppose he is. And in a relationship, the default mode is trust, you simply just expect your partner to tell where they're going and who they're going with and you believe them. Ik Sun could have simply introduced him to Jun Wan and everyone would be happy, if Jun Wan was uncomfortable then, it would be his problem not hers. See what matters is being transparent. Hiding specific details like 'gender' to spare your partner some uncomfortableness is not an excuse. This is especially important in LDRs, you have to be transparent and honest 100%. In this case, Jun Wan has no idea who her friends are and who to call if she doesn't pick up the phone. What if something serious happens to her, and Jun Wan is not able to reach her or her friends whom he can't call, and she's away in a foreign country. Obviously this the worst case. We might be blowing it out of the proportion as caller only said they lived in same building and not in the same flat, but this is a real life thing. All this non sense could have been avoided if she just show him her friends pictures and gives their contact info to him for emergency, I mean they are vcing all the time, why not introduce your friends in a quick minute.

I don't know why but I feel like the quality is dropped a little bit as compared to season 1 or maybe I had too…
Definitely put this on hold, watch it when you don't want to focus too much on a drama's plot or want to watch something light-hearted just in a need to kill time, SOLs are meant to be watched like that. You don't want to drop this. Another help could be don't watch this drama's episode successively, try alternating between different dramas. Lol, rn I'm watching like 5-6 dramas.

My heart broke for the baby's mother (who has been waiting for a long time for a donor, and consoled the other…
Yep, it must have took tremendous mental strength to help others when you yourself want the same thing. Plus her child was younger. I know it's a completely unbiased process but definitely didn't feel good when the one who just arrived got the heart when there was another one waiting for months. But that's just reality.

Did Ik Sun lie? I think she never said that her housemate is a woman. Jun Wan is the one who made the assumption.
I low key think this too, but she should have told him regardless, I mean if there's nothing going on (which there isn't) why hide who are your friends, they're face timing all the time, what's the harm in introducing your friends to partner. Because you definitely don't want miscommunication in a LDR.

It's weird how some comments are saying GYeo wul and jeongwon needs to be professional outside the hospital too…
He is actually not acting childish, it's his personality. He has an innocent mind, and an overwhelming desire to help others, plus his job is well suited to his personality. Unlike other dramas where leads suddenly do baby talk when in a relationship, where their old personality was more stoic and poised, this doesn't cringe me at all. It's just the way he is.

Definitely ik sun is not cheating, but I feel she should have told him who she's hanging out with, at least pictures. If they are living together, in separated rooms, it's not uncommon in America to have roommates of different genders, but then she should definitely say this to Jun Wan, yes this might have made him uncomfortable, but isn't honesty the main factor in relationships especially LDRs? I don't think they'll break up but Jun Wan definitely has the right to be angry. I guess they'll take a 'break' after she comes out from being hospitalized.

The direction this season is taking is slightly different and I respect the writer for not settling on what worked…
Is it? I just feel it's an continuation of the last season, and I'm definitely liking it.

Title The Hymn of Death Spoiler
I couldn't watch the drama, it's definitely not because of the story, it's because I didn't quite like the acting, I don't know why, I thought it liked seriousness, I barely finished half of the first episode, and I didn't want to watch scenes like FL pouting and saying, "why didn't you say it before..." (ep 1), in a colonial drama's gloomy atmosphere. BUT! The story was really my cup of tea, and I wanted to watch it badly hence I compromised and read up the episode summaries (dramabeans). AND it was worth it, I almost teared up reading the 3 pages (1 for each ep) and could imagine what was happening in the drama, (the images helped). This is why I rate this an 8/10 despite dropping this just in the first 30 mins. As for the ending, I can't say it's right or wrong, it's a moral dilema, I'll only say it was just sad, that two people want to be together that bad and circumstances don't allow it and they can only be so at death, (in a way, they romanticized a double suicide, which I'm against). And we don't know what happens to woo-jin's wife, I felt very sad for her, she never expected love from him and didn't flinch at her husband having feelings for another. And she's alive and a widow, (albeit a rich one, but I guess she can't remarry, not at those times but maybe it's better than Joseon era)
