This is a SOL drama hence obviously pacing is slow, people prolly binged last season and ignored this fact and this season people are taking out their frustration because of 1 ep per week. It should balance out by the end of the show, and ratings by future viewers.

This drama, I started without knowing an iota of the plot. Can someone tell what I'm about to walk into. Similar to the walking dead premise? But these aren't exactly zombies, they're more like mutated monsters, like resident evil. I watched only 1 ep yet.

Ep 2: Go go Ik Jun!

It's most probably because people most likely binged the first season and they're getting frustrated with getting one ep per week this season and taking it out on the ratings, it'll probably pick up by the end. For me, at least, I don't see any quality drop compared to last season.

Ah, forgot about part-timer. That was a really stupid reason to pick up singing and drop the exam. If you actually can't solve even 1 question why even waste a month let alone 3 years!

I agree with you, except last episode was rushed. And yes I wish kdramas were shorter like 12-14 eps. I usually tend to drop after 13 if story isn't crazy interesting and just end up reading plot summaries of the rest.

Unpopular opinion: I guess everyone did like ep 13, I didn't to the extent I liked the rest of the 12 episodes. The 13th episode for me was like the drama was hell bent on undoing everything it had built upto now. Until ep 12, the drama had a realistic viewpoint upto the breakup due to the relationship becoming slowly toxic. In ep 13, we see Yang getting caught, which is fine, it's the next scene that bothered me, FL went to negotiate with ex to drop lawsuit against ML, (I knew the assault was gonna hurt FL's case, ML should have kept his emotions on check) then all of a sudden ML becomes angry on FL because FL goes to fix HIS mistake. (ML: -1). Next, the negotiation, FL keep your head straight just complete what you went there to do and get out but Nooo, FL has to listen to ex's excuses and then drinks the spiked coffee without shouting for help, (so self defense doesn't help when you act stupid), at this point the ep ruined FL's independent character and turned it into same old damsel in distress so (FL: -1). Now at this point, realism is thrown out of the window, ML has a sports car (no idea how on a cop's salary), we see a car chase where the culprit notices ML following, thereby putting FL in harm's way! Then of course the ML bravely jumps on ex's car putting everyone in danger, when he could have simply asked the police to help set up a blockage for a kidnapping fugitive. Next magically everything's fine, ex himself walks over to the police, ML n FL are happy with each other seeing each other's self-sacrifice when the issue wouldn't have even arose with some communication (FL could have just simply told ML her plans). Now again we see a twist FL's moving out after accept gift from ML without saying anything. ML runs faster than a truck to catch up with her! FL says her reasons, ML lashes out like a kid, blackmails/threatens FL that he'll be taking out his anger on random strangers (red flag: very similar to what her ex did), FL runs toward ML. They kiss. They get together again. She leaves for a short trip to Mongolia and returns. They could have really skipped the last part, it was childish. Like jeez everyone knows you love each other but have you heard of 'space' and a little alone time for individual development! Well they ended up taking a break after all. So that's about it, rant finished. Honestly ep 1-12: 9/10, ep 13: 6.5-7/10

Episode 4, gettin' bored.

Yup especially after ep 4.

I would have given nine for the first 4eps and conclusion. The remainder were subpar and dragged down my rating, even if it wasn't predictable, it was boring.

I'm actually watching this drama because of Kim Yong Ji, otherwise would have skipped it; I fell in love with her character Hotaru in Mr. Sunshine. She's got unique visuals, is she pure Korean? The plot is decent I guess, I do want to know what happens next, rn on ep 3.

Ya I know that, I'm saying that a normal dog or any pet for that matter might not be good choice for a person with high anxiety issues. What I wanted to say that companion dogs are more suited for her rather than strays for her mental health's stability. And I don't blame FL at all, she has had her share of troubles, but she has to able to be trust again because it's not always rosy or even happy at all times in any relationship and she's bound to be tested many times, if she runs away everytime anything happens that means she's not ready for a relationship yet, what she needs is a friend who will not leave her at her time of need, which sadly ML can't provide 24x7 cuz he also has his own problems in his life. Personally I would have liked them to start the relationship after FL's trauma had been dealt which I thought she had but Ep12 proved me wrong.

I think that might be the case, the relationship is turning toxic, FL is becoming too dependant on ML, and getting depressed as soon as something happens. There's no trust on the ML even though she said she did. Also ML can't be always there for her, his priority is catching Yang as he might get away again. As I see it FL needs to work on herself and face her issues once and for all and become independent. After they've done resolving their own shortcomings, they can get together again if they still love each other.

Looking back at it now, I'm kind of mad at the dog, I mean what kind of a dog runs away from the owner and gets into a lift with nothing to chase at all! He'll bark at our dear ML but never at strangers? If I were an optimist, I'd have thought he was leading the asshole away from FL, bad sadly I'm not, I doubt he could sense him from another floor and I don't think he did, seeing he didn't bark and even ate the (poisoned) food fed by the ex. Dogs are supposed to be the best companion mentally sick people have, because they bring happiness by lifting the owners mood, but this dog strayed away from FL twice now, once before with the kids. This kind of dog who constantly leaves at whim, of course I can't blame him he was a stray after all, but he is not so much of a companion or should be to someone who has serious trust issues.

52 episodes x 1 hour each. I'm a binge-watcher. And this is looong. But the ratings and comments are pushing me to watch it, like 8.6 for 52 episodes shit that's not easy. Someone tell me how many eps to watch per day.
