First, she's not annoying, she's autistic. That's like the whole point of the show? She can't help her quirks but tries her best. Second, this is personally my opinion, her character and personality are honestly refreshing, she's growing on me and I find her adorable. No, I'm not saying it to be nice, I actually believe so. Also she's nothing compared to some of the 'normal' annoying FL's. Like for example Cafe Minamdang FL off the top of my head. Now that is annoying, but that's another matter.

Nice theory, I'm pretty sure that's how it'll mostly end, except the blind girl thing. I have know idea how it'll unfold. As shipping her with prince does make sense in a political marriage, as she's jinyowon's top sorceress and he, the prince. The prince though is actually in love with Naksu, but knows she will never return his feelings. I guess it'll be a bittersweet ending for the prince for having Mu-deok with her one way but not the person inside. Naksu will probably switch bodies later and disappear as she's still a criminal, but UK and her will stay in a hidden relationship where everyone knows about them but no one says anything.

Something I'd like to point out. People seem to be drawing parallels between the first mage and first jinyowon's leader and ML and FL. This is not correct according to me as 1) Naksu isn't blind like the lady was, Mu-deok is. So if you're shipping the past couple that means you might be mistakenly shipping Mu-deok and ML. and 2) They themselves said it was different from the past as the previous relationship never even started, the lady probably didn't even know the first mage's feelings. While here the ML is upfront about his. Naksu will be eventually too, after we pass the K-drama denial phase.

I mean she had the top pupils of songrim and the crown prince, all elite class people of her time, solve the servant's quiz. And if that wasn't enough, the prince personally provided her the cheat sheet. All this while she herself was blissfully unaware. The scene where they were figuring out the answers was hilarious!Regardless of the end, whoever ends up being the king, whoever ends up gwang ju, the brunette will probably be the future head mage, and the blonde will be the husband to the jinyowon's daughter. Naksu has a major influence on all the power pieces of the fictional country and the one in the shadows controlling everything, lol.

So I'm really happy on the character development of the prince, he's freaking adorable pretending to be a tsundere, lol. He's not petty minded as I initially thought him out to be, the culprit is Jin Mu poisoning his mind. Regardless I still want him to be the future king, I was honestly looking for an excuse for Uk not to be the future king, this was it. The current prince is good enough. Let Uk and Naksu remain mages.

My head was going crazy knowing I did hear that song somewhere, but I, for the love of god, just couldn't decipher the lyrics nor can I remember the K-Pop titles unless they are very recent. I was crying while listening to all of IU's songs, Twice's, Itzy hoping I'd find a similar song and the singer(s). The song is 'Nonstop' btw.

Honestly that was way too funny. What can you expect from the guy who has been celibate all his life has this much drama in just a few moments. I'm just glad Maid servant Kim was looking up in his eyes and not downwards, 🤣. I'm pretty sure years of tea training went down the drain in those few moments.

How, exactly? You mean he can't hire underlings to do his dirty work? The nurse could have been acting under orders/threat. Now the burn mark, most obvious thing. The nurse had a burn mark, but we haven't seen the prosecutor's hand have we? Even if we did, he could have gotten rid of it with surgery knowing ML saw his hands. The prosecutor is intelligent as yet again proved by this episode. Also the main thing how can we be sure there's actually one villain? In the past when ML was walking to the prosecutor's home, he saw a guy wearing a mask leave. And then there was another guy doing the killing. We know those two guys are different because ML only thought something was wrong when he smelled smoke, at that time guy 1 had left and guy 2 was doing some ceremonial shit with the dead body. Obviously the prosecutor could turn out to innocent, but it's usually the 'Nice guy, low-key intelligent, but usually everyone ignores him' kind of person turns out to be the antagonist.

According to you FL is furiously trying to avenge her brother. I agree and it is obvious. Let me say it this way, if someone did a criminal act against your family, you would obviously want to hunt down the culprit. Let's say you tried your best, and found someone but now others are saying there can be multiple culprits. Obviously the rage is back, now you want all of them to rot in hell. Now, if as you say FL is acting out by emotions, she would want to catch all the culprits in the world regardless of the fact how many actually did the crime. This is understandable and I would be fine with it. But no FL is fixated on one culprit and only one culprit when all evidence points against it. She's like in denial that there cannot be any other culprit. She's like at least, I got one culprit. She could look for the real culprit and not an innocent scapegoat. Also, it seems she hates the ML more than the actual culprit, that's fine too, if she believed ML was at fault too. But contradicting herself, she doesn't actually believe, much less she doesn't even believe her brother, when he called her to say he found something. So yes I do believe her actions her very stupid, and not actually herself, maybe. Again to clarify, obviously no hate towards the actress, I actually like her, but I will not defend a stupid character or justify her actions when everything point towards it. Either be emotional or rational, she's being self contradicting and being half and half all the time.

I thought this was going good. But by opinion is deteriorating by each successive episode.
1. FL is stupid like really stupid. I know they tease ML's brother to be slow. But she's the one who has the brains the size of peanuts. She never listens to reason, and is so fucking obsessed with one guy, even when all proof is pointing against him.
2. I knew from Ep3 that the prosecutor was the mastermind, but come on leave a little imagination for the audience. This episode just killed all the suspense.
3. A freaking cliche is coming, where either the ML's sister isn't actually her sister or the brother isn't actually his brother. I'm thinking the latter, cuz she's harsher towards her own kids. This leads to ML'S brother falling for the sister.
I'll probably drop this the next or the 8th episode cuz there's really nothing left to watch.

I wish they would have done it earlier, I would have watched it all it once. I went into it assuming it's a complete drama. Nonetheless I wasn't disappointed.

Netflix has been creating a lot of good K-dramas lately and breaking the stereotype that K-dramas are all fluffy cutesy romances. While there's nothing wrong with that, I like to see that the genres of K-dramas are expanding. It opens up the opportunity to attract a more diverse audience.

While this is true, I've seen K-dramas emphasize bullying a lot. Every drama I've seen, if there's a school scene, there's bullying. And not just teasing, it goes all the way to physical assault and harassment. The reason can be anything, not necessarily a disability, from social class differences due to being poor or even the best academic student in school to body shaming. I don't know, if this is a prominent issue in S. Korea or the drama is spreading awareness as this is a serious issue by showing the extremes. I hope it's the latter. I personally have never seen or heard bullying to this degree. While I acknowledge that this does happen and even to this extent, I'd like to believe it's not common enough to happen everywhere all the time.

If you liked this remake, I suggest you watch Suits Korean version. It's surprisingly well done as well.

7.1 really? This is pretty interesting from the first 2 episodes and I'm eagerly awaiting for the 3rd! I just don't want the romance to overshadow the plot, please. It most definitely can't be avoided, as we already have 2 competitors for FL but I kinda don't want it to become the main focus meanwhile neglecting the assassin plotline.

After 14 episodes of depression, you find some healing at the last 5 mins of episode 14. But ngl, loving this.
