Can someone tell me who was YMJ's boss having an affair with. The names rhyme a lot and I got confused. I don't think it was relevant to the plot but they somehow skimmed over that so it was bugging me.
Ok, so for the last episode. It was a bit rushed but not so much that it would ruin the flow like it would have been a better if they extended the duration of the last episode to like 1hr 15 mins? I would have liked a little more background on Mr. Ha, he had a cool vibe in ep 15 but felt like such an extra in ep 16. Plus the teaser romance between the idol and ML? Any Manhwa spoilers?
Overall loved the show and the rating is justified imo :).
So, why is this compared with Vincenzo? I can't find any solid similarity between them besides the fact FLs' dads were killed by the villain but the circumstances were pretty different though as well as all the characters.
Loved every episode since ep10, but I'm very skeptical that they can wrap up everything and do justice to all…
While I disagree with you regarding the dog episode, I also think they should have given the leads story more time. I don't like everything being resolved magically in the last episode.
This evil version of Johny depp is weird LOL It looks like a sad ending
Bittersweet probably, (I'm figuring out the sweet part), I mean they already showed a lot in the next episode preview, I can assume what's gonna happen next.
Ok, I'm loving this series but CJW is shown as a character who wears his emotions on his face and is transparent as glass. While it was fine before, it's getting annoying now. It's like he believes from the get go that he is one who is always right and needs to made understood repeatedly that others can be right as well. It's been ep15, and while Koo Ryeon is running rampant, and IRG tries tracking her, this guy here says "So? You're just gonna do nothing?". I'm like, "Shut up, it's not he's not doing anything, but he can't, and it's not he was just sitting around, he did find her but was taken down, and was thinking sitting down what to do next!".
The acting in this episode was actually so crazy. The whole breakup scene in the kitchen made me feel so many…
That laugh, I don't think it was out of happiness or relief, but out of sadness. Like when your situation is so bad that you laugh how bad your life sucks. That guy is broken, her ex did a number on her and died and he couldn't process it, he couldn't cry so he laughed, a little bit like the hobby club lady. I'm guessing he's laughing now thinking, "Ah I had an escape for a while, but I really had to come back, huh? And what did I even come back for, the guy I was supposed to hunt ended up dead on his own...Now, I can't even go back to her...well what can I do, I guess normal life is just isn't meant for me..."
Have bots taken over the page or what? What the actual fk is going on? I didn't even notice the scene the comments speak of, not saying it's not there it might be, but I didn't notice it, I'm more invested in the storyline. Also what is up with the homicide list? What murder takes place here? Please someone reply with the episode no and time stamp causing said controversy.
Edit: So I read an article explaining this, turns out it was in one of the earlier episodes and in the beginning, so it's pretty easy to skip over, I'm sure 100% international watchers couldn't notice it well because we can't read it. Now, as for whether it can be passed as fiction. If it was just one name, just one, yes because people can have same names but including bdays was just way too specific. So the production house pulled an supremely childish move by doing this whatever the reason as it was without permission. Now does it warrant boycotting the drama? This is iffy and based on preference, regardless of what the studio did, the drama and characters itself convey a lot of values and lessons, it's a good drama minus said scene. Spamming the review section: Kindly don't. That section is made entirely for one thing. Reviews. Dramas are to be judged on the actors acting ability and storyline after finishing a drama and not a single prop. Instead put the issue out in a social platform such as twitter, and gather public support and forcing the studio to acknowledge the issue and publishing a formal apology. Not that it'll help, but because it's the correct attitude after doing something wrong. But I assume this is already ongoing. Boycotting dramas that are shot after this controversy, that I'm in full support of, but not the ones that are already finished filming but not yet aired, as the actors and the majority of support staff did nothing wrong.
I was watching this one before I started My Liberation notes so halted this for that one, now I catch up to that…
I feel you, but liberation notes while being SOL, is different from this drama. I can't exactly put it into words but, the characters there, are well kinda dead inside (emotionally), they put on a facade and try to fit in with 'normal' people, and struggle to get through the day and it takes a lot out of them. Actually I won't call OB depressing, it's sad. MLN in contrast is depressing, yes. But I relate to it so...You can try it, and check if it's your cup of tea.
Ikr, he can be so lovely and gentle to Seon ah (after she broke his heart many times) but not to his mother
Because he and sean-ah liked each and still do. And another reason, just being the biological mom and treating her kid horribly, doesn't entitle her to receive the child's love nor his understanding. I'm sorry but she's not getting free sympathies just because she's old and dying.
It’s a good drama for the most part, but because of the omnibus format, some characters are not as interesting…
For example? Many would disagree, each person watching this has an character they relate to, and it might not be the same character for everyone. I in general like ALL the characters and the way they are potrayed. So, I wouldn't call it a chore and dismiss off the omnibus format. It just shows how everyone can be living be the same life yet everyone's lives are different from each other.
Dong Seok treating his mother like that is pissing me off.
The way he talks is yes. But I understand the hate. Just because you are old and dying and are 'family', you are expected to be absolved of all the past trauma she inflicted on him when he was a kid. No thanks, I'm not that forgiving, if you don't even try to apologise. She's so quiet anytime he tries to ask her something, she just doesn't say anything. At least tell him your side of the story! The son is reaching his hand out in his own way, sets up shop near her, eats his breakfast nearby, and I'm pretty sure he comes all way to the remote place, crossing seas, just to check up on his mom even if he doesn't accept it. But the mom is just, not even trying to take his hand.
i really dislike how mi ran acts toward eunhi but the way she lights up that village
Because she like the spoiled pampered kid in front of the grandmas, which they like. The guys were all in love with her at some point of time. And most important of all, the comments she makes are considered as jokes, which I'm sure she makes ignorantly and to be intended as a joke, but she doesn't consider the viewpoint of the person she makes the joke on or just assumes they'll get over it. It's like saying, "Just chill, I didn't mean it seriously." after making the person the butt of the joke in front of others. The situation is same as what the Gangster dad said to Ho-Sik. Except Ho-Sik then cut him off, but EH didn't. And worst of all, I don't think Mi-Ran is even aware of any of these things being so ignorant.
Wow the last 10 minutes. Regardless of whatever the hell her situation was, she shouldn't have said it to someone…
P.S.: I was just getting soft for the kid's dad, but it went away again. He literally called EH Mi-Ran's slave, this was before they showed her true colours. They all made EH feel like the ugly bestfriend of the perfect popular kid, which was so sad. That guy really needs to watch his mouth and the way he speaks.
Wow the last 10 minutes. Regardless of whatever the hell her situation was, she shouldn't have said it to someone she actually thought was her friend. I honestly don't know how EH got through it, I would have been shattered by the high school incident never mind the betting one. You should never attack someone on their most vulnerable insecurities or take advantage of someone's kindness. You can be ignorant of their kind gesture, but don't take advantage of them. I've made up my mind, I don't like her, now whatever backstory they put, I'm still gonna hate her, (the character not the actress).
Well this was intense and fun, solid 8.5 and more. I must've ignored the LGBT tag, but it came as a pleasant surprise. The first scene was, well... Also I would not recommend anyone to watch it after 2521, or vice versa. The characters are mountains apart. It will ruin your image of Hee Do. I'm definitely not saying this is not good (it was awesome), but the genres are completely different. Put a few dramas in between and then watch this. P.S.: didn't knew K-drama/movies had a LGBT couple as main leads and with such high rating. :)
Overall loved the show and the rating is justified imo :).
Well that's the vibe I got.
