There is also slightly above what I consider to determine if a series is gud or bad for me. Also, I admit Venus in The Sky wasn't the best but I also said the reason it was better to me was because I never lost the urge to keep wanting to watch more and more of the series unlike IFYLITA where I kept pushing myself because I was looking for a reason, we could debate on this, if ue want us to go in detail WhatsApp me on +256701841679. Nothing is more tragic than a remake of a hit that ends up becoming a flop because it can't surpass the standard set by its predecessors, it should have made an effort like Meteor Garden did after Boys Over Flowers and I preferred the Chemistry of the main MLs back in Ossan's love wc left me asking myself, What went wrong this time??? It's not to bad but based on the expectations I had, I am disappointed that they couldn't deliver something better than the original.

It's pretty rich watching a BL that gives you dark horror vibes than sweet or toxic romantic moments. But as someone's work I appreciate the creative part since it's quite intriguing so far.

It's strange how the series started from fair, went to good, bad, worse and now worst over the last episodes in that order, honestly the rate at which this ship is sinking, it's going way below the Sea level. We Literally hit rock bottom before we even sailed from the harbour 😆 LOL

Anyway, what I consider a good series or good stuff to watch is something that gets me addicted to the point that I can't stop once I am started or once I do it's hard and in my opinion, IFYLITA didn't give me that vibe.

Like Love Between Fairy and Devil, it's not even a BL but a Xianxia drama but until now, it's been four days since I concluded it but I am still immersed in its storyline.

If I am to mention things I appreciate about dramas.

1. I prefer sincerity in expression of feelings and not just nudity or sex that looks like a copy and paste scene.

2. I love some rom-com, I feel Venus in the Sky delivered a reasonable amount which wasn't over done.

3. Toxic romances are my favourites. I like lovestories that leave characters heartbroken, shattered, painful or spiteful and evil.

4. Star-crossed lovers never seize to amaze me, it's the only thing that made me appreciated IFYLITA somehow but I felt no pain at all. I feel nothing is more sincere or realistic than liking something or someone you can not have.

5. Self-righteous characters or reasonable villains, they keep things interesting more often reminding me that love is not a bed of roses.

6. Sad endings, tell me not everything sees the best end in life and this might sound like a stupid reason but at times I appreciate a series which makes me cry because to me, it means it has tapped into my emotions and won me over.

7. Dogfights,
equivalent to the women's catfights in this context, that drama is very compelling.

I had dropped this show on ep 4 but many people here urged me to rewatch it and I did, it's not too bad but it isn't good, for me, STAY WITH ME was even better evwn if it had no kiss scenes since it is from China so I think I'll stand with my earlier resolve, I think there were better done series than this like VENUS IN THE SKY but these just were unlucky since I don't think this show was better than DANGEROUS ROMANCE.

What is so wrong with this drama, honestly I don't think it deserves its very low rating, i have tested the first 2 episodes again and it is ok despite the fact that there's a lot of negative energy from its haters.

This may sound awkward anyway since I prefer to watch the subbed version but everytime she calls the Moon Supreme "WOODEN HEAD." I LMAO coz its so funny

I am on episode 32 as I speak but I couldn't hold it in any longer. This series is perfect, it is the most beautiful tragic lovestory and I love the fact that it made me cry.

Love Between fairy and devil is a package of all kinds of feelings, you’ll feel angry, you'll give up on people, then you’ll learn to understand them, go on to learn to defy fate and eventually you will want to fall in love again.

This series is one in a million and its undeniable, I have watched all previous 31 episodes in the past 3 days because this series indulged me so much and I couldn't stop once I had started.

You should watch it because it will undoubtedly become one of your favourite shows especially if ue r a fan of Romances that are forbidden and theur whole existence is bent on defying everything in the world because all in all, the greatest lesson you’ll learn is that happiness in life comes at an expense but above all it is only by standing firm that you can weather all the storms of life.

Sorry if I wrote too much, it's just that this series has touched me so deeply.

Could someone please help me tell me what the Seven Trials immortals who descend to the Earth Realm have to go through?

It's very hard for me to focus or even identify another feeling in this story because of the constant sex which isn’t fair to the show or the couples because you notice almost all
6 to 8 characters have slept with each other. Do you find that okay??

Lets first be real, sex in the shop, in the showers, in the toilets. Like guys lets first be real, we are having characters that first sleep with each other and be like "damn we fuck buddies, right?" Then after that more and more sex and they be like "man I love you." From my own perspective and in my opinion I don't think it's okay to feel enchanted by handsome guys and then have sex with them over and òver until ue realise you love them.

Even if its BL it's still about love and in this context trusting people with our everything which for me is necessary before even sex, perhaps at least the scenes would have been done once and maybe we would have felt a more sincere progression.

This series to me seems to put sex first instead of love moreso romantic relationships and I dunno about you guys, some of you might have a different opinion but aside from being just BL dramas are stories meant to inspire people so that's why the series didn't hit me like I hoped it would.

Oh No Here Comes Trouble.

With over 5 Wuxia BL'S with a very uncertain future, my patience is wearing thin, I wish the koreans would make xianxia BL'S for us, China would str8ten up the job and learn that just because they produce legit fantasies they can't take for granted our support to their Xianxia Monopoly and ever since I watched Alchemy of Souls, I'm hoping more KOREANS could embrace the genre.
