May be it felt dragged or I watched the CUT VERSION guys but for some reason I dropped this series at Episode 4 cuz it failed to give me a reason to keep watching so I am shocked people have given it such a high rating
I have watched too many BLS, at least over 300 but I must say, I personally find it difficult to watch something with so many negative reviews until I have no choice, first thing is first, a 6.9 rating, it's sad, I can now personally give this show 9.0, in fact, it is far better than many other series with gr8 ratings, for some reason ONLY FRIENDS got boring, as though that wasn't enough even if BE MY FAVOURITE was a good show it didn't appeal to me so much cuz from like episode 8 it kinda felt dragged and it is a miracle I didn't drop it. I nearly abandoned FAHLANRUK because it was rated with 6.3 but after giving it a chance there was like nothing too wrong about it like people make it seem.
Venus in the SKY is a cute, funny, sweet show but I guess what makes a good series for me is the ability to keep me watching. We might have seen similar things but in my opinions it is tragic to have an originally beautiful and rare plotline and be terrible at developing it.
After this I will never rely on too many negative comments, reviews that can't even put in some appreciation because I personally didn't feel gr8 for series like I FEEL YOU LINGER IN THE AIR, ONLY FRIENDS, LOVE IN TRANSLATION which had much better and even higher ratings.
Don't know about you people but for BL DRAMA fans out there, this is a sweet bromance to keep you tipsy. Trust me, BL SHIPS are seriously sailing so hard in this show and I can't get over the fact that I love how the main leads fight, quarrel and tease each other like a married throuple especially Li Lianhua and Fan Duobing.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
PS : If you watched Lost Tomb 2 from 2019 where Cheng Yi played the character of Zhang Qi Ling, then you would know how his bromantic scenes are super hot😘😘😘 LOL
Hi guys, just concluding rewatching the series for the fourth time. It was undoubtedly my best for 2021 and I'm gonna say something that is gonna disappoint some of ue.
Even if Shin Da On was pretty much a dick I must say that guy really loved Tae Kyung to the point of letting him be with someone who would give him much more than he ever would.
Honestly for me there was no better testament of unrequited love and of course the show made me cry on his part since I understand the type of family he is coming from.
I see sparks between Namgung and So Hee so I am looking forward to their chemistry in future.
Then my couple, Tae Kyung and Shin Woo, seems to be in happily ever after so I love the sweet look of them I want to see them graduate to the next step since I giving them something new might be challenging for the writers.
Tr. SEO if I remember well has a sweet past romance coming back so I am anxious to see what happens next, preferably I wanna see him playing hard to get and being the centre of a love triangle.
Da On, my favourite character for his tragic life needs redemption. I want to see him loving another guy.
LIGHT ON ME, I am waiting for Season 2 every day that goes by.
This is practically Cutie Pie the series again except that this time the main and support couples switched roles wc is why I couldn't go beyond episode 3 since my eyes felt defiled and duped
Man this series was gr8 but the fact that a phoney King came to rule is annoying for me. How could Lee Chang turn a bodyguard's son into a King? Anyways, putting all that aside it kinda made me uncomfortable to the point of doubting if all those real Joseon Kings were even really royal bloods if a full Crown Prince could sell his right to a bodyguard's son knowingly.
I started this drama before it was fully released and I put it on hold at ep3 because I thought it's not gonna…
We have to consider that coming from Mainland China, it's a surprise the series even got to air, there are like 8 series including IMMORTALITY and the STORY OF THE BAT which still have uncertain futures yet they were even shot before STAY WITH ME came to mind.
OVERALL, I don't deny the fact that it may be a bromance but you know what the best part of this story was?
To me it was making me believe that both male leads shared a sincere, tragic but undoubted love even by just looking at each other without necessarily kissing or having too much sex like most THAI BLS overdo it and wind up tarnishing the real motive behind these stories and making BL relationships seem more like hookups of men suffering from insatiable libidos.
Besides A part of me felt Stay With Me was my story cause their relationship and its ups and downs are more realistic and relatable to our very own daily experiences.
KINNPORSCHE rises to Most Popular Thai BL on MyDramalist overtaking 2gether The Series that's been on top for the last 2 and half years which is much longer than any other Thai series before.
Don't know bout ue guys but Stay with Me is already my favourite BL DRAMA for 2023, China tops my list after one whole year since KILLER AND HEALER aired back in 2021. Someone should upload a YouTube video review on this drama.
Because of the ending I was compelled to give this series a perfect 10 even if it didn't deserve it, why, number one it isn't every day you watch a bl drama narrating the end of the world, secondly it isn't every time the main couple chooses to die together. I still don't like the fact that for the first six episodes our leads were confined to a single condo. But what have I learnt, Thai BL series can take a shot at the SCI-FI genre and succeed with immense funding because if the series was this good on a low budget, I imagine how it would have been better with a higher budget.
Well i would love to break this to you guys and report that apparently, Stay With Me's official Weibo Account confirmed that the series has been renewed for season 2 and that's why it had an open ending so I bet the gay gods are winning we'd better hype the world for Season 2 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
