they really humanise every person in each relationship and even though i don't condone everyone's behaviour i understand their flaws and weakness enough to understand why they ended up doing what they did. we all make hurtful decisions, the key is confronting them and taking responsibility for your actions
i like it in dramas where the SML realises he's been taking the FL for granted all this time and never truly appreciated her. although often the SML just gets possessive and selfish without any self reflection 🤦🏻♀️
i love that this is a 12 ep drama because if this was 16 eps my enjoyment of the romance blooming would be tempered by the dread of the inevitable ep 12-14ish noble idiocy/misunderstanding/fatalism break up and angsty fall out
