This actually has been bothering me so much that I dropped 3 of her dramas (While i liked the story). It's not just period dramas, even modern ones show her with pale face and red make up I just cant🙄😭 no hate on the actress but come on producation team what are u doin😑😑 I cant watch my fav actors or plots because of that annoying make up.
Obviously, Glory sets an overall gloomy and dark tone but one of the worst parts for me was the parents' behavior (hers and others). It's heart-wrenching to watch parents that are ignorant, self-righteous and abusive like mine.

It sounds weird but after I fishined crying over ye xiwu's death I felt a certain type of catharsis. I'm somehow relieved her pain is over and her mission's done. Very excited to see what happens next :,(

I agree with you on these matters, they just created more drama in a nonsense way. I mean ye xiwu had barely interacted with xiao lin now all of a sudden she sacrifices every progress she made with TTJ for his sake. Weird af. And the whole episodes were really rushed and not consistent with the pace of previous eps. I hope scriptwriters can give us better stuff later
