The story isn't about her at all so she's a side character
It doesn’t matter if she’s the focus of story or not. She could still be a well written side character, not some damsel in distress waiting to be saved by male characters all the time.
So basically female lead is there to create some comedic moments, and maybe become the “love interest” of ML later on, pretty much useless! I waited so long for this and based on trailers I expected a strong FL who can hold her own not some whiney spoiled kid. So disappointing. I just don’t understand what do these screenwriters have against women. It’s 21 century and we still see these damsel in distress characters in their dramas. Come on people!
I really enjoyed this one. It did great tackling mental health issues and more importantly creating a warm/accepting environment between the leads. I dropped IOTNBO because in my opinion its characterization lacked accuracy and associated being a jerk to having mental issues. But here it wasn’t a problem as the characters almost perfectly portrayed the mental issues they were diagnosed with.
