Ok we are going in….reviews have it at somewhere between 5 and a 10…be the mindless fun that hope you are…

I made to ep 12 and had to give up….I tried, I really did, but the ML had the charisma of a pot plant.

FL wise, you give her all the intelligence and investigation skills, then slap that baby voice on her and even I begin rooting for the bad guys just to make it stop.

From what I have heard from the rumour mill it’s in the same attic that holds the portrait of Gong Yoo

To be honest I am quite enjoying this. Yes, it’s not a story telling masterpiece, but I went into it perfectly clear in my expectations that it is going to be a light hearted romcom that gives the fuzzies.
It’s nice filler drama where you can easily sit through it without much in the way of thinking, marvel at all the
ex-machina saves from impending doom and leave with a smile instead of as an emotional empty husk.

Sometimes it’s nice to have something easy going to reset the constant high levels of angst/anxiety (we all know we live at being drama watchers) Our moods usually range from needing to flip tables, opening weeping and hearty laughter all in the total space of about 16-20hr typical time frame.

Same here, I waiting for it to complete and binge watch. From the clips I have seen, I already know how invested I am going to be in this, it looks to good to be true.
I need to know the type of ending, my fear it’s going to be a gut wrenching heart break, and I am going to have to try and give more than an explanation than a snivelling
“They were so in love…” to family why I start randomly to ugly cry into a glass of champagne throughout New Year’s Day.

After finishing Goblin this week, I am not sure I can cope with that level of emotional suicide. So it’s the fluffiest of fluff things for me in the meantime.

I ended up dropping for now, I will try again in the future, now watching Goblin where I have discovered all of the feelings

I am not even through Ep 1 and oh god I am already aboard the emotional rollercoaster….

Not going to lie skipped through pretty much all of 28-32…still enjoying it but in my opinion it’s another drama that could have been 24-30 eps in length. I feel if you going to do a longer length drama maybe a bit more gritty intrigue is needed. Don’t get me wrong I knew exactly what I wanted and was getting out of this drama and it delivered.
Maybe it’s just me and have reached a point where I have the attention span of a puppy.

No baby voice, is smart, omg! I see actual self respect…

….I think I am welling up 😭

But not going to lie, it kinda fizzled out for me in the last few eps like the ex-BFs scheming, if you are going to scheme, damn it, do it with enthusiasm…

For me I would 24eps would have been enough and I totally skipped through the secondary couples shenanigans. So if you all think you will feel bad for doing that, please take note that they had absolutely no impact on the plot whatsoever.
You could easily delete everyone of their scenes from eps 2-29 from the drama without changing any part of script or doing re-filming, and just have them rock up as random NPCs as they were in the background of the proposal who’s sole task is to happy smile.

Still giving it 7, may have its flaws but it’s a nice, easy to watch drama….like a boat on gentle lake.

And we are done, still give it solid 7, LXY is to darn cute as an actor not to.

As long as they don’t throw in amnesia, an unnecessary breakup because we have too many feels to communicate or a sacrificial martyrish death I will be happy. I am really only hanging in for the ML as it’s nice to see LXY getting more ML representation and a modern drama. It’s a solid 7 drama so far for me, no great feelings either way.

Going in for last 4 eps this evening…if there is anything I need to be prepared for feel free to spoiler me below, it been pretty inoffensive so far but I never underestimate the ability of Cdramaland to throw something in at the end that makes me want to peel my own skin off in anger and/or frustration 😁

I have to admit I am kind of struggling, I have made to Ep 6. It’s not grabbing me to stay up til 2am to see what happens next, which is probably a good thing for my sleep patterns. Also I may be only who thinks that all the music for the fight scenes reminds me of the ‘K Project’ anime.

For the fact that has rave reviews I think there maybe something wrong with me, I want to love it, might see if there are YouTube vids to bolster my interest.

I am up to Ep 26 and waiting for the remaining eps to drop so I can finish out in one evening. I was a little disappointed in this one, for me it’s lacking not just a decent plot but an actual plot, but I will see it through. Next in the queue lined up “Fall in Love” and “Party A who lives beside me”.
However I really should work through my plan to watch list as I keep cleaning it up however always end up adding more then I remove.

I have been mostly hanging in through resting “woe with me” faces for the ML, Liu Xue Yi…yes I am biased as I would climb him like a tree without a second thought (those eyes)…I am about to enter what I would consider the ‘happy episodes’ as the FL finally smiles, but I have to admit it’s a pretty bland plot and characters for 30 Eps, can easily be cut to 24.
