SML is not present in many of the current episodes. More of the ex-GF though.
They may end up getting a joint thread then as I am foreseeing that he will not disappear completely, there will be some manipulative desperation, where I will ultimately want roll up a newspaper and smack the FL on the nose while saying “no!, bad FL, bad” :)
Finally enough episodes uploaded so I can begin the usual binge watch. So keeping with my tradition of when watching any romance drama while airing, I shall start my running commentary of the SML (in this case ex-boyfriend)….
Questionable plot, ML has the acting range of Botox and unnecessary crossbows. But to be honest I found it so ridiculous that i watched all 16 episodes and I have no regrets.
The only things you need to take from this drama are; shower scenes, lipstick tasers and 80s film montage level guitar music.
PSA: ….No major organs were harmed in the making of this drama….
Dropped sadly…didn’t make it through the first episode but time-wise I still made it longer than “cute programmer”
I found the dubbing the biggest issue, for me the voice to the lead actors just didn’t work and couldn’t get past it. Not sure if it was their own voices they over imposed after badly or voice actors but could t plow through.
I do like a cliche plot, not going to lie so it’s my sort escapism story so no issue with that and I have nothing wrong with actors, I will look at other drama they are in, I think instead.
But also i wish the wroters gave him more pain. Like more regret for the things he did... kinda like when he found…
She was to be confined to the ‘Cold Palace’. This where all the emperors send their consorts to as punishment. This can range murder, palace intrigue, losing favour or just doing something to annoy the emperor. It’s like a prison for the Harem, all privileges are taken away, basic food and care. Basically it sucks being consort…..never become the consort
Let us all give a round of applause for the SML actor and his portrayal of a despicable human being…you know when the actor has done a good job when everyone wishes for the characters early death :)
