That’s my thought as well. I know for sure that’s one reason why LYX’s character is more captivating for me, his voice is his own; so soft, tender, and manly 😂
I’ve decided…. Hostage prince (up until he became Jing emperor) is my favorite TTJ. There’s just something about LYX’s portrayal of the hostage prince that makes me believe in his every facial expression and body language; experiencing all the injustice and pain then eventually get out of there, learning to love, be loved, and experience affection 🥹
I normally only rewatch a drama’s climax point and beyond but not TTEOM; I’ve rewatch the entire drama and still pay close attention to the first 11 episodes, no skipping ☺️

@dramafeast LYX and BL talked through and interpreted the characters thoughts and reasoning through each arc. The last few minutes, we’re without any video, but TTJ and LSS along with their daughter reunited ❤️
I woke up and saw the special episode, i clicked on it so fast and paid the $1.99 without checking on here first, thinking it was an extension to the drama 😂 In the end it wasn’t but I don’t regret spending $1.99, as this is my first time ever for a special episode 😆 plus I got some closure so I’m okay 😆

I think as individuals in our own professional life, there’s always room for growth and we are always learning. that being said, the projects each chooses, helps their growth and development. I don’t personally know LYX but I sense he’s very genuine in what he does and immerse himself into that character, putting everything in. I appreciate that he doesn’t stick with what he’s comfortable with. He’s okay playing the anti-hero in one and the hero in the next. I love the complex characters he chooses to play (TTJ in TTEOM, Rong Qi in Princess Silver, Run Yu in Ashes of Love, etc); not eveyone can pull it off flawless pulling all the heartstrings. He’s grown so much over the years and I know that he will continue to show us throughout each project.
He’s definitely up there with Hu Ge and Wai Kai for me. Such talented and humble guy!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, LYX and BL outdid all their previous works this time. I don’t mind the ending. I just hate the last 10 episodes building up to the ending; it could have been better wrapped up. I get that the entire series had to cut out 18 episodes but the editing was way too choppy. I’m so glad I have fellow Moon fans on here, explaining and sharing the missing pieces to make it make sense. had I watched it alone, I would have gone crazy trying to understand it.
I’m sad and heartbroken over TTJ. the amount of torture and heartbreak he’s had to endure. His character development is the best example there can be. In the end, he made the ultimate sacrifice and is free from his fate as the DG. We can all argue that that he just wants a peaceful life with Susu, but we all know, “with great power, comes great responsibility” (🥹) TTJ and Susu knew exactly what they had to do, hence TTJ purposefully made eveyone hate him and Susu choosing to die with TTJ but he shield her and everyone with the heart scale.
My lasts thoughts; Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu definitely carried this drama all the way through. Everything aside, their acting was above and beyond phenomenal in every way. Conveying and portraying each individual character they played was only possible because it’s them. Their chemistry during each arc was simply amazingly beautiful. it’s my first Bai Lu drama and definitely won’t be my last. Luo Yunxi, I knew was so talented, this is just another example of his great and beautiful work!
