I don't know why this show has got such bad rating? I loved the acting and they are good looking actors with great…
It was their choice to live separately and take care of their respective clans. It is not that they die or something. They understood that love is not about being together but respecting and cherishing each other but at the same time fulfilling ones duty.
At the end she was able to see him when they were still alive. Yes she is a Goddess and he is an old human but they didn't die an unjust death. They lived their life and fulfilled their duty. No one forcibly separated them. It was their choice and they took the right decision.
Maybe as he is old, people think they won't live together for a long time. But the fact that he lived an honorable life and she lived as a Goddess and both knowing that they are still there somewhere in the world is enough. I guess if your love is true it is enough. They had bigger responsibilities and didn't overlook that.
Did Xue Fu ever learn the truth about his wife, that she didn’t really cheat? Who set her up to create that…
No one set her up. She was with general and had ink on her dress. General tried to remove it and their shadow made it look like they were getting intimate.
After she committed suicide Xue Fu got her note and understood she always loved him. But the shadow thing was not explained. She just wrote she always loved him. So he regretted a lot.
To put it simply HL and FF are the stories of two siblings Sang Zi and Sang Yan.Hidden Love focuses on the love…
I agree with your point. The characters do behave differently here. I think the author just wanted to somehow connect FF to HL as HL had it's own fan following and it is nice to see some extra stories about something that you loved.
But yaa.. the characters should have been consistent in their behavior.
I think they should have just made FF as a completely different story and not something related to the Sang family. FF is a great story on its own.
The older brother who died, is he good or bad? Did he actually cheat the FL?

I liked the overall story. All actors did good job.

Maybe because of the end. It was bitter sweet ending. Actually kind of satisfactory to me
