There was no misunderstanding. He was just helping the girl to fix the contact lens. At first, from that angle, the FL thought he was cheating but when she went ahead to talk to him directly, she saw he was just helping the girl. So, there was no misunderstanding or cheating at least in that scene.

The director just showed the incomplete scene in the first episode which made audience think that he cheated. It was the camera angle. I don't know why the director unnecessarily misled the audience.

But in Episode 9 you see the full scene, where you see the FL seeing that he was only helping the girl. Later in the scene they had an argument due to depression. So, basically she broke up due to the argument as both were depressed due to her illness and not because he cheated. She knew from the beginning that he didn't cheat.

In Episode 9 they showed what actually happened in the scene and the FL knew that he never cheated that day. It was just to confuse viewers in the beginning with the camera angle.

I liked the first episode a lot actually. Though I don't think it is that bad but the later episodes are not that interesting. I will still be watching it as I think it is a one time watch.

So he had to wait for the plant/grass to grow and then eat it. But that grass is very rare and difficult to find, almost impossible. But they still took a chance and decided to wonder and enjoy life while looking for the grass. But yaa whether they got the grass or not was not shown and people can interpret the ending in many ways.

I saw the drama more than once and remember it.

To me it is a HE. I mentioned it in one of my comments or maybe an open ending. I really wrote a detailed explanation as if my life depends on it. 🤣🤣🤣

But yaa.. different people will look at it differently. It was not clear.

I badly want a HE for Richard Li and I will assume that this is one of them.

Actually in one of my comments I interpreted this ending.

Ep 30 at around 7 mins, when the ML looses his eyesight, Xiao Zhi told that first his eyes and hair will be affected, then ears, nose, internal organs and so on. Basically he will slowly approach death with constant bad symptoms in between. I know it is cruel.

Then Pe Shi got some medicine which instantly restored his eyesight but according to Pe Shi, it will also take away his martial art skill and he would become weak. It will prolong his life for 6 months and within that time they should find the medicine. Now it only helped with his eyesight but his hair was still white.... meaning that medicine couldn't stop all the bad symptoms of the poison.

Now regarding when he closed his eyes whether he died or not. I think even though Pe Shi's medicine restored his eyesight, but according to the nature of the poison, he should have slowly lost his hearing ability, sense of smell and should have been in a miserable condition before dieing. I mean Pe Shi's medicine could not have prevented everything and just directly make him die.

But he looked fine before closing his eyes, only his hair was white. He said he will be with her in all lives. So, I am assuming he was just tired and not dead. He said he will be with her always as they were also not sure about whether they will get the medicine on time or not. He wanted to console her.

Later they miraculously got the medicine on time and he was saved. As Pe Shi said it would be almost like a miracle to find a 10 year old plant as it takes 10 years for a plant to be ready to be used. But maybe a plant was there and no one saw it before or something like that. Or he managed to live longer than 6 months and by that time the plant had grown for 10 years and the medicine was ready to be used and he got cured.

So the last scene where both are smiling together is a HE for me.

Actually I added a fresh comment. I tried to analyze the ending after watching the last episode again. I think it became the sole mission of my life at that point of time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

After seeing so much debate I had to do it. I wanted to prove that it's a HE 🤣
