I had lost interest in dramas where the ML is an immortal mainly because of their overly superiors acting or being rude. So I went in with no expectations with this one, I was doubtful whether to continue even after the first episode but I have to say I'm glad that I stayed with it as it got better by each episode.
Jang Ki Yong is good as always, I haven't missed his drama since his Go Back Couple days. Hyeri has improved tremendously as you said is fresh and her comic timing as improved due to this doesn't looks like forced comedy. This role perfectly suits her. Another great surprise for me was Hana, I loved her character she's charismatic but cute at the same time. Glad she's not a typical SFL going after the ML in this one. I like the way she schools our friendly Gumiho. And kudos to the rest of the supporting cast as well as their part also made sense so far. And not to forget the use of animation in depicting uri Dan's mood, that thing worked perfectly.
Great article I enjoyed reading about each character, the drama as a whole and I hope more folks watches it with us as we have still 6 episodes to go! This drama may not be perfect but its very enjoyable 😁.
