I don't know if it is just because I have such a soft spot for Poon but Marc feels so much more comfortable MarcPawin were fine but I always felt a stiffness with Marc's acting he just feels so much more relaxed in this series and actually comfortable with Poon like their physical chemistry is good.
If the trio actually become a throuple would this be the first Poly relationship in a BL? I think the only other show I have seen that features a poly relationship is 3 Will Be Free. if there are more I would love to know so I can watch the series lol
Pretty and Mek's storyline is alright a little basic but you know watchable, Kram and Ploy's story is a utter mess it feels like 101 things are happening and it is all over the place like why does Ploy just blindly trust Kram when she hasn't even seen him in 10 years...I am sad because Jamie and Mond could of been so good together they have just been giving a awful script to work with at least it feels like they are going to be taking Aye's storyline a little more serious
When the trailer dropped I really thought I would love this series but I am really struggling I think it is another gmmtv show that is suffering from one to many characters so none of these stories are getting the proper development that they need, I think I am only holding on because I have wanted to see NamtanEarth as a pairing for so long so I at least want to see their story playsout
Jealous Sun in this episode was a hoot lol and I love how this series didn't follow the usual BL pattern where the ex usually girlfriend is written so horribly and toxic in this Ton is actually fully supportive of Ongsa and Sun and is involved in them actually getting together it is so refreshing to how the ex is usually written 90% of the time I need more AylinLuna now that we know ViewJune wont be getting a series together anytime soon I need more of them here I know Milklove won't be getting a series either but at least with OngsaSun we get loads of screentime
I know that Pond and Phuwin aren't the strongest of actors but man their chemistry is insane I didn't think it was possible for them to top the chemistry they had in Never Let Me Go but We Are might do it
I really do think this series would be better without the flashbacks personally I enjoy all of the present day stuff so much more I think Film as Punk Ploy is the only thing I have enjoyed about these highschool flashbacks so far I think some of the highschool stuff could of just been done as exposition and then focus all on the present day.
Binged this over the last few days and overall I enjoyed this alot, the budget was budgeting I don't think I can name another BL that felt like it had such a high production value maybe KinnPorsche but it has been a good while since I watched that. Billy and Babe have amazing chemistry and I think they did a really good job of blending the real world police drama with the reincarnation/mythical plot stuff my big issues were it started to really drag and the ending sucked I ended up feeling so disappointed after it was such a letdown after the series had been so good
That Great and James bath scene honestly came out of nowhere lol I know there has been tiny hints that maybe something was going on between them but they were few and far between was that scene supposed to imply they are actually together or...I wasn't mad at it, it just felt so random I know most people don't like Ken but I feel bad for him regardless of anything he very clearly loves Seiji it is not his fault Seiji just doesn't feel the same way I hope if Sejij and Japan do become official it won't ruin their friendship. I guess episode 6 was their product placement episode haha
Episode 4 is for me is the best episode of the series so far maybe because some of my favourite parts of the movie were in this episode, Film and Nanon really do have some great chemistry I can see why they are so popular as a pairing.
Honestly the first couple of episodes were good but I didn't get BL vibes at all I think in the past at least they were step brothers and a brother type relationship is exactly what it felt like I was shocked that it is a BL because the first two episodes did not give me that feeling at all lol with there now only being 3 episodes left I don't know how much they will do
I don't know if I will be in the minority but I am actually loving this series tbh this is a series that usually wouldn't work for me at all it is full of BL tropes that just aren't my thing but something for now at least is just clicking with me I am having so much fun Aou probably being the biggest stand out for me so far
Honestly until the final scene that ending kind of sucked. Overall I thought this show was okay not my favourite but not terrible I think it would of worked better for me if we had just focused on the two leads less outside issues and saw more of the highschool stuff with only 6 episodes each around 20 minutes the show just wasn't fleshed out enough for me.
I am so curious now how Aye's storyline is going to fit into the show the first couple of episodes had that quirky flare to them both a little unserious but from the trailer and the little we got in episode 1 her storyline seems so serious I wonder how it will fit into the whole show
Before the series I read "Busy February" the story Namtan and Earth is based on and omg only 1 episode in and they have already changed so much from the source material and scenes that happen towards the end of the novel are happening in the first episode I think the going back and forth between past and present is so much more disjointed in the series hopefully it gets better as the show goes on it is like all the emotional depth from the novel has been removed which sucks. I think the first episode was fine felt like a basic gmmtv series if anything this series has some of their most talented actresses so I will watch it for them alone
Happy Ploy's Yearbook day! I really hope this show proves me wrong I absolutely love the cast and after 165 years I am finally getting Earth & Namtan as a ship but tbh neither trailer looked all that great plus the last series Snap 25 gave us was The Jungle and that show was terrible so my faith in them as a company is currently not high but I so so want to like this show...
Honestly I am lowkey invested in this love triangle like I enjoy Japan and Seiji together they have good chemistry but then Ken and Seiji have the whole friendship backstory and I am a sucker for a friends to lovers trope so... Im sad because you know either Japan or Ken are going to be left heartbroken and I actually like both of them, I like Khem and Wela just fine but their storyline is the same pretty much every episode so I am way more into the whole love triangle mess happening lol
I need more AylinLuna now that we know ViewJune wont be getting a series together anytime soon I need more of them here I know Milklove won't be getting a series either but at least with OngsaSun we get loads of screentime
