Honestly I feel like one of the only people who is actually watching this series lol It is fine but so far I haven't really seen anything that justifies a whole series the movie works fine but maybe there will be a storyline later that they wanted to include in the movie but couldn't so far anyway i would probably just recommend people watch the movie
I know that Pond and Phuwin aren't the greatest of actors but I don't agree they haven't improved at all like I notice a huge difference between their performance in FUTUS and We Are especially Phuwin he has gotten so much better at expressing emotions than he used to me they are similar to Forcebook and Joongdunk they didn't start as the best of the best but you notice improvements and I guess that is all we can ask for.
Honestly for me Aou completely stole the show this episode he was so funny and I really can't believe Poon wasn't apart of the original cast he fits in with everyone so well he was another stand out for me this episode. tbh the plot feels very basic so I don't know how they are going to fill 16 episodes without it starting to feel draggy even 12 episode series feel a little too long sometimes but you know what episode 1 was surprisingly good and had moments that actually made me laugh most of the time gmmtv comedies end up making me cringe more than anything
Wait is episode 6 really the last episode? I feel like the series hasn't even properly started yet, did they not have the budget for more episodes? or is the novel like this too really short and this is all the story there is? I am so confused lol
You know Tin and Charoen are really starting to grow on me I found them very annoying in the first couple of episodes but they are becoming much more endearing to me now, maybe it is his limited screentime but I am also not finding Ton nearly as irritating lol I do hope we start to see more of Sun's perspective I know Ongsa is the lead but sometimes it very much feels like Sun is there as the love interest and nothing else we get little bits but nothing close to Ongsa's extent not judging to harshly because we are only 4 episodes in so the POV might shift in upcoming episodes.
I think they have been able to flow the additional shot scenes pretty well but it so funny sometimes because you can see the actors age up and down a couple of years depending on if we are watching scenes that were in the movie or not lol
You know the easiest way to solve a love triangle is for them all to just date each other but I feel like Japan and Ken would kill each other first before that ever happens lol also we literally just did the whole jealousy thing last week why do we have it yet again this week I am already exhausted either Khem accepts Wela's job and stays with him or he doesn't accept and they break up I really hope this doesn't last the whole series.
I know lots of people want Alpha and Charoen to get together and that would be great but I lowkey feel like they might pair Alpha with Ton I know Ton dated her sister but I mean 3 days was 3 days does it really count haha and I think they did confirm Alpha is bisexual I don't know I just think they might happen, Anyway I love this show so much whoever decided to pair ViewJune together thank you because I adore AylinLuna so much I just know the real reason Aylin hates humans so much is gonna be heartbreaking and I am not at all ready for it.
Sorry that it took me so long to watch this but omg it was so good! tbh I am glad that they didn't lean very heavy into a romance between Fa and Ajin I never really felt it was needed I just enjoyed their dynamic romantic or not also Piploy remains probably one of the most underrated actress at gmmtv she is so good. Question for fans has it been confirmed if Bright or Namtan are going to be in season 2? I know Bright left gmmtv and Namtan has both Ploy's Yearbook and Pluto so she will probably be pretty busy.
as a girl watching this series there is way too much guy humour for me lol I thought the movie was okay so I am curious on how the series will be already just with one episode I am seeing things I don't remember happening in the movie but it has been a few months since I watched it I am very much looking forward to the story being explored more
Does anyone know how 23.5 is performing on Netflix? I was shocked at how low the viewership is on youtube but then I remembered it is also airing on Netflix so that (hopefully) explains it I want gmmtv to produce more and more GL's but I do worry what will happen if this show is not a success especially because of how long it took to actually get a gl series in the first place . I know there is obviously still Pluto to come but that hasn't even started filming yet so who knows how long the wait will be for that one as well.
I admit I wasn't a huge fan of the first two episodes however I was completely sold with this series on episode 3 it was so good, Faye is such a talented actress sometimes I feel she is too good to be in this nothing against the other actors she just feels so much more polished her acting >>> for the first time since the show started I am actually excited to see what happens next week
surprisingly I am really enjoying this I do agree that they are moving awfully fast but then if this series is only 8 episodes it makes sense they don't really have much time for a slow burn. I wish the budget for this had been bigger for them all working at a host bar the costumes they are put in are awful
Ngl I feel like the whole "dated" as teens reunite as adults is a trope that has been done so much recently therefore it is getting a little stale so this series isn't anything unique but it is still enjoyable the main leads have good chemistry together.
While I had a good time with this series I don't think I enjoyed it nearly as much as some people did once we started getting into the flashbacks the series did start to lose me a little although Barcode did a stellar job I just think they dragged on a little too long also I feel like some of the online theories ended up being better than what the show actually gave us. A solid show if you want something a little darker but probably not a series I will ever rewatch
For anyone who has read the novel is Sun or Ongsa's sexuality ever explicitly said ? I don't want to get it wrong so I wondered if they are lesbian, bisexual ect other than that I loved the first episode Ongsa is such a loser and I say that with the most affection possible
You know I don't think I have ever watched a series where characters make THE most stupid decisions Kim Sa Ra knows exactly what her husband is like, doesn't think to have protection for her son when he is the one thing her husband has weaponised against her the whole series... if you can look past all of the stupid choices these characters make this was a fine show I still had a good time watching even though it could be extremely frustrating and a little predictable at times
