Controversial opinion: I don't care if I get downvoted, but I found the top highlighted reviews pretty disappointing. A lot of them seem biased, probably because they don't want their favorite series to be overshadowed by a new franchise. The hate toward this series feels so forced. People are calling it 'unrealistic,' but what’s really unrealistic is other medical K-dramas where the leads have 300 IQ and perform surgeries with their eyes closed. This drama actually portrays the real struggles of young professionals trying to find their footing and you see them genuinely grow over time. That’s way more relatable.
Im amazed at the character growth of all the first year residents. On point acting and really embodied their characters.
I love Jaeil the most. He didn't start strong and had a lot of lapses at first. But it didn't stop him, he was so passionate and kept himself grounded, took care of his patients very well and provide them comfort. Look at him now, he's thriving and it was really inspiring. He didn't become a good doctor overnight. There's a build up and it was really good to watch.
It made me think that if i stay consistent and passionate about with what I do. Will I be like him? It's really inspiring. You know he's still far from being perfect but you will see that he made a lot of progress already.
I was just confused. Do won is the brother of FL's brother-in-law right? And they all live in the same house.. Are they going to be love interest? It's weird??
This is coming from a viewer with a little knowledge about hosplay ( i watched a few ep from s1 I wasn't able to continue it before, but I plan to catch up) Resident playbook is so good. Im looking for something light, i love the mundane of it, not too heavy, realistic struggles of first year residents. Reminds me of time where i first started working. I struggled like them too. FL is different from the typical passionate genius character formula you see in medical dramas. She lacks motivation, timid, unbothered she dgaf lol. It was kind of relatable and i would love to see them grow throughout the series.
I seriously hope hosplay fans to stop terrorizing the socmed, comparing the two and telling everyone it's not good. Leaving bad reviews when only two eps is out so far is really childish. "I dont feel the hosplay vibes in this drama" stop w your bs
One of the worst dramas in recent years. I usually like to sometimes watch silly and simple dramas to distress,…
I usually don't mind or ignore villains but shin rok is so good i can't help but notice, her and kang joon (kinda) is carrying the drama. Im a fan of her now.
Kind of mediocre. But what a stellar acting from kim shin rok, im now a fan. She's the only one who made me keep watching this drama. Both of the leads were serving boring and typical righteous character, nothing new, the chemistry was just meh (i started this drama bc i like them from their previous roles) anw that's it.
no but i agree!! he was so kind and amazing... i wouldve been trying to date him sooner if i was her. we were…
True! And yes I wish we could see more of them dating but yeah they went straight into marriage but im not complaing though i love them so much😭😭 i cant get enough of them really
Fellow ruichang fans! (do we have a fandom name?) Can you please recommend another drama of him, i just finished a river runs through it and im about to finish fighting for love.
