I hope not..the director himself already said that he only use the novel as the framework so lets just hope he choose the HE path for all good character..

The princess become obsessed with him since the first time she saw him when they are still kid..love at first sight but one sided..

If the director follow the novel exactly, she will have miserable marriage life bcs the 2ML give her cold shoulder all the time until in the end she died bcs of protecting him and the regret struck him hard..

so far all the comment about this specific scene in today episode are all in the same focus, the basic manner..i understand he need time and i agree with that..he need to clear his mind too before start the heavy talk but the least he can do to respect her courage to come to him is face her and say he need time, done..and for me it is the same scenario for the other way around (male to female or female to male)..because both of them are not stranger..they already spend time together..dont you feel both of them need to be respected at the very least?

after a while to process what happened in the latest episode, i can understand why lechen do that..he thought that was the right thing to do by reject ailin approach to talk to him at that time and i respect him for that coz maybe he want to protect yuan's feeling by not creating another misunderstanding..but i still cant accept his manner..he can spend 1 min just to tell her face to face if he needs time and they can talk later coz i can saw it clearly both of them having a very hard time that night..

i cant and i wont judge the way lechen and ailin response to each other feeling coz its their choices (both has their own problems and own mistakes) but for me, i cant accept that kind of manner with let other people to shield you from the one that desperately want to clear something with you (whatever reason you have)..
this will be a perfect time for ruilong if he truly have feeling for ailin..he is there too to heard what lechen said and ofc he understood what it means and how it will break ailin's heart..at least be there for ailin without giving her pressure and not let her break entirely coz if she feel overwhelmed by her own broken heart, she will choose to leave..time is crucial now..
and now imagine what if in the next episodes, lechen began to wavering towards ailin and confuse yuan ? (coz we still didnt see yuan crying yet like in the trailer of the show)
damn that will be the bizzare drama ive ever saw in a dating show..lol..

im trying to remember every moments that happen between three of them and i'm sure enough that ailin and lechen feelings are mutual, right?please correct me if im wrong..
for me, the way lechen reject to confront her instead let xiao jiao to block ailin when she want to meet him is a very wrong attitude as a man..whatever personality (introvert) you have as an excuse, manner should be the top 1..if you feel very tired and cant have a deep talk with her, at least face her and tell it by yourself..thats basic manner..
after that scenes, somehow i get a feeling that ailin maybe choose to leave the house earlier.. and i support her if it is true because she must protect herself first if she feels that staying can harm her more..

true..she has a lot of things she must do..out of context here but i feel mesmerized by the way rulan look others straight into their eyes..haha..

the only thing that regretful for yuan was she lost a lot of time at early episodes coz she must finish her study first which make her losing focus to nurture her relationship with Lechen since early..at the same time, lechen spend so much time with Ailin..Ailin and Lechen both has friend type of romantic..so i guess its understandable for us to hardly see what kind of romantic between them..but eyes cant lie..lechen like both of them..if lechen take any longer time to decide, he risk to hurt one of them or maybe all of them (including lechen himself)..and thats the drama for spice things up this variety show..

i have a feeling that what Victor Ma said was related to this..
may i know why you didnt consider them smooth sailing?
LanFang for me is already end game..Xiao Jiao can and must try until the end (until he can satisfy his heart) but in the end, Rulan who the one decide..and from what i saw, LanFang is end game unless dr Fang suddenly make big mistake..who knows..

from my pov, lechen has feelings for both Ailin and Yuan..i dont want to call this stronger but towards Ailin, Lechen has a bit more feelings than Yuan..why he conflicted between Ailin and Yuan is because Yuan give him more secure feeling coz Yuan only pour her attention to him..at the same time, he feel more conflicted towards Ailin because he is not sure how much Ailin like her because of her outgoing personality make him see her a bit blur towards other men inside the house (i can call this as a very slight jealousy thing)..
you wont having a growing relationship without a conflict..there is only 1 outcome after the conflict between Ailin and Lechen..either they decide to end it or they will grow to understand each other more and getting more closer in the future..
with Yuan, everything seems so smooth..sometimes, always smooth is not that good..

Yess..where is the formidable WZ from the start?no one can control her before..not even her sister..

Exactly..in the novel, WZ is the most formidable demon in chang'an..the only one that more powerful than her is her husband which is MZY (MZY very scary to others but very lovable only to her wife)..and also no one can manipulate WZ..
And what i dont like in mostly dramas is there is always inconsistency about strong FL in the early episodes but turn out to be easily manipulate towards the end..

You should watch it.the more angrier you are toward WZS, the more sweet you will feel when both WZ and MZY together fight WZS later and destroy him forever..✌️

Actually if the director choose the kid plot, it will be epic..how cute WZ as a girl being taken care by MZY like a father and daughter until MZY felt a bit traumatic and told WZ when she back into normal that they must not too hurry to have children..lol..this is one of my fav part in the novel..

The amnesia plot is to replace the event from the novel when WZ actually turn back into a kid..its kinda mix and match plot that the director choose to do..however, its just temporary..no worries..and i still hope the director include the twist towards the end about WZ and MZY..

There will be twist i guess at tomorrow preview for 30+ episodes..well, only if the director follow through the main story from novel..

The novel is very sweet though..i understand this is an adaptation after all..so the director can spice it a little bit..there is no WZS in the novel..WZ and LTZ are the most powerful demon lord in chang'an, no question ..in the other side, MZY is the most formidable taoist(even more than his seniors)..

Actually, the story is a bit different from the novel..in the novel, they knew each other identity because of WZ inhale a lot of demon miasma and shuangjiang happen to come to chang'an too..so i cant tell you what will be happened next..

Wuzhen initially is half human and half demon..i guess WZS try to change wuzhen into full demon..WZ already do the process since earlier episode..buttt, there will be twist at the later episode if the director follow the main path of the novel..just wait for it..hehe..
