no cuz literally same I LOVED the slowburn, heesu's character and seungwon's character were both really relatable to me because of how long they dragged everything out I will say tho, I understand why ppl are mad, but weirdly enough it's flaws made me like it
I've been feeling down a lot lately (liking someone I shouldn't like, feeling like I'm growing apart from my closest friends while they grow closer, etc). This drama feels so comforting. I'm really glad to have this drama in these tough times. Anyone else who is like me and watching it for comfort, YOU GOT THIS, and I hope Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo comforts you just as much as it is comforting me :)
Also guys if you’re into time travel romance with a couple with really strong chemistry, try watching someday or one day! Still one of my favorites to this day, and it’s been a few years since I first watched it :)
Their chemistry is so warm. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a kdrama couple that have this strong of a chemistry, and I’m so excited to see what comes next in this drama 😊
Guys is the tunnel in the drama by any chance the one in 2521? Anyways, it's a really sweet drama so far, I really like dramas where the main leads serve as emotional pillars for their counterpart (this happens in a lot of dramas, but I feel like it is rarely done well), and I feel like this drama will do it good, especially cause of the main leads chemistry. Looking forward to the next episodes!
Guys, we don't need to be rude to each other! I haven't watched this one yet, but will give it a try seeing the acting is good. But also please do not call the original "cheap". This drama I'm guessing has a much higher budget, and it's due to the original succeeding without having as big of a budget. That's why this drama sees the light of day (I think Someday or One Day was really popular all over Asia when it came out)! A high budget doesn't equal the best, the emotion, acting, plot, and the small details like music also make the og the og. Trust me, Someday or One Day is special in that sense, and I have a feeling some people may be sad that due to Taiwanese dramas not having the same global reach as Kdramas, people (like me) are disappointed many may not see the beauty that the original is. However, we don't need to attack the actors of the remake every moment either just because of that either, and give the remake a chance. Maybe an open mind will let you like it more than you think. Don't be biased against it or for it! I hope we can all enjoy the story, whether which adaptation it is that we like ;)
I saw the teaser for the Korean remake and it made me realize how much I miss this drama :( I hope the remake captures the beauty the original gave to us, and brings us back the beautiful memories that came with watching the show for the first time.
I am not really the type to watch action dramas as I feel like I am biased against them because I feel like I can never get into their story, but this show really left a lasting impression on me. The acting is insane, the bromance felt so real (which honestly felt more like a love triangle more than bromance), and the complications of relationships when situations and our thought processes test them had an effect on how good this drama was. It was executed so good. I am hoping there is a second season, and I hope all the main characters return (tho it seems they might not due to how the webtoon takes a turn? Not sure cause I haven't read the webtoon, but I will always hope!). Anyone who is like me and thinks they don't like action dramas that much, GIVE IT A TRY! Maybe you'll end up in the same situation as me, heartbroken but satisfied.
Spotify Wrapped finally came out, and turns out Your Existence was my most listened to song this year! Brought back some memories from watching the drama :)
I searched up the name of the drama and I was surprised how high the rating it has now, as when I watched it for the first time it was quite lower. I am so happy that it’s so much higher as this drama does not disappoint one bit! I hope anyone new who watches it enjoys it as much as I did :)
This movie was very bittersweet in my eyes. I thought the main leads had SO much chemistry and that really made this movie! It gave me so many butterflies and I felt so happy and sad when watching it. I agree with one comment below that the movie should have probably spent time on the effects of his death and how meaningful their time together was, but I understand it was hard to go that route for a movie compared to dramas. Bora and Woonho were the epitome of right person wrong time, and I’m sad they went through all of these hardships, but I’m glad I got to witness their sweet intimate time they did have together. The title makes everything sadder because she truly was his 20th Century Girl, and neither of them knew their love would end like this, but I’m glad to know she was his true love that he could express himself to, and that kept him happy for the time he did have. ♥️
Today I had such a bad day, but I listened to some of the ost of 2521 and remembered how that even though they broke up and reached a low in life, they still managed to be happy and live good lives, because they helped each other out. While their breakup hurts, I think the lesson that things can end and you can have shitty things happen but still live happily with memories to give you strength really comforts me, especially on a day like today :)
