It started out great (really interesting) then it went downhill after the scriptwriters had no idea which direction to head. Total bummer, really. Overall, it's still a great drama. It could have been superb.
I don't know why all the fuss with TMTETS. I've seen better historical Korean dramas. Don't even mention the love…
The cliffhangers are rather disappointing. They always make it seem like something incredible/big will happen in the following episode, but my hope always gets crushed. The recent episodes are picking up more. Though, I don't know what they're going to do with the remaining 4 episodes. I have a feeling things are going to be rushed.

The casts are great indeed. Though, there's lack of depth in characterization and storyline (sadly). Nothing is going anywhere. Even the love story feels a bit flat/dull. And everyone's world is revolved around Wol.

Want to watch something that will give you an adrenaline rush? Go watch The Princess's Man. Just my two cents ^^.
I sound like I'm bashing TMTETS, but it's rather than I'm sad to see such a full potential drama go to waste.
I dropped this and now I'm watching it again. The storyline is kind of mixed up in my head because I haven't watched it in two years. Though, I'm dying to see more of PSH and HHJ. I remember I dropped it because I didn't like their sense of humor/comedy... especially Bong Soon's.
I tried watching this, but couldn't get into it. The only Hong Sisters project that I've actually enjoyed thus far is My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. When does this series get better? Anyone? Thanks ^^
Watch a Moment to Remember instead. There's no need to watch A Thousand Day's Promise unless you have the time or the investment to cry your hearts out or be forced to do so.

It's just the comedy feels really forced. They don't seem to flow too naturally for my sense of humor. Hopefully, it'll appeal to my taste.
