Hi there ^^!
I see that we both love The Princess's Man, Park Shi Hoo and Moon Chae Won ^^.

Yes, I've read a PM review on your blog before. Very interesting and we seem to share the same interest in terms of what TPM has to offer. I love that drama despite the minor flaws. Then again, the flaws are so minor compared to other Korean dramas that it's faults are passable.

I'm currently watching The Moon that Embraces the Sun and eagerly awaiting for Rooftop Prince, King 2hearts and Fashion King. What about you? I'll take Skip Beat into consideration. Thank you!

You guys have an awesome blog, by the way ^^!

would anyone advise this for the first historical drama to watch
My first Korean historical drama was Jumong. It's probably one of the more difficult ones to watch, since it's intense/long. Though, I'm glad that was my first because it totally drew me into the sageuk genre.

Queen Seon Duk, Jumong and TPM are my favorite sageuk dramas up-to-date. In no particular order by any means though ^^.

It depends on what you can tolerate. If you're more into comedy/easier ride/fun time then I'd say Sungkyunkwan Scandal. If you want more emphasis on romance, I'd say give TMTETS a try. A lot of people like TMTETS, but it's not something worthy of a must-watch title, IMO. Then there's also The Princess's Man if you're used to something more intense/dramatic. TPM is definitely my favorite out of the three that I've mentioned and possibly my favorite drama of all-time. I wrote a review for TPM, so if you're still hesitant, please do check it out ^^.

Thanks for the friend request :)!

I see you also like Shining Inheritance ^^.

This movie is no way on par or anywhere near A Moment to Remember. There are no similarities whatsoever, unless you consider one of the main characters being sick... which most Korean melodramas include anyway.

Haha I forgot to mention that I saw your watch list. Pheww... so many? How do you keep track of what you're watching? You're like watching 72 at a time... I'd be all confused haha.

No problem! Tell me how that one goes when you start it ^^.

I tried watching this, but couldn't get into it. The only Hong Sisters project that I've actually enjoyed thus…
Just my opinion, so don't bash me haha. I don't find it's funny. The casts are good, but the comedy is kind of slapstick. I still haven't finished the last episode.

I watched TPM because I was waiting for The Moon that Embraces the Sun each week. TPM is definitely one of my favorite (if not my favorite) dramas.

Jumong is very epic. You might want to give Queen Seon Duk a try first, since it's more recent and there are less episodes. I loved them both. Though, I don't remember too much about Jumong since I watched it awhile ago. I recommend you try both. Queen Seon Duk has more love story going on... though, Jumong is a better organized story (if I remember correctly). Definitely two epic sageuk dramas.

Yes, one of my favorite dramas up-to-date is The Princess's Man. It has rekindled my love for Korean dramas ^^. What made you watch it?

I adore Park Shi Hoo and Moon Chae Won after viewing TPM.

From your top 5 favorites, I also loved Boys Over Flowers, Shining Inheritance and Sungkyunkwan Scandal ^^.

Hello NinaJade82 ^^!

Yes, Takeshi Kaneshiro was also my first Asian crush when I saw him in House of Flying Daggers.
We do have similar taste! I can never make up my mind about which Korean dramas are my top favorites. I just mix them altogether to avoid having to contemplate haha.
I would love to see your reviews sometime.

You should definitely check out The Princess's Man if you haven't.

Thanks for the friend request ^^.

Is Protect the Boss really good? I'm guessing it is from your list of favorites. I didn't watch that one because I was doubtful. I'll be sure to check it out now ^^.

Awww, I'm glad you enjoyed my review of Padam Padam ^^.

Hi there ^^!
Thanks for the friend request. From the looks of it, it seems like we enjoy the same type/genre of dramas. I've also dropped You're Beautiful and Heartstrings. I thought the sense of humor/storyline/characters were ludicrous!

I don't know why all the fuss with TMTETS. I've seen better historical Korean dramas. Don't even mention the love…
The pace is picking up now. I like it better when the Prince isn't too focused on Wool. I am also loving the King in the most recent episode. Too bad there are only 2 episodes left to patche everything up :(.

Oh I forgot to mention. What ticks me off about this drama is that everyone's lives revolves around Wol. I don't even get the time to care for the supporting characters. They don't have a character of their own. They exist only to support the main characters' existence. In fact, whatever happened to the connection b/w the Princess/husband/Seol? Why introduce it if they're going to leave it underdeveloped? I personally find there are more cons than pros in this series.

Let's see what they are going to do with the 2 remaining episodes. I'll be damned if they somehow make it all work out.

No problem about the recommendation. I don't know what's your taste, so not sure if TPM is your type of drama ^^.

If you give it a try, please update me. I'd love to hear your opinion ^^.

I totally forgot about the flashbacks in the first 7 episodes or so. They were really draggy. I was wondering if they lacked ideas, hence, they inserted all the unnecessary flashbacks. I was hoping for redemption, but sadly, I'm still not satisfied. And there are only 2 episodes left.

K-dramas are not known for making another season haha. So sorry to burst your bubbles, but I highly doubt it.

I've seen more natural love developments before. It's just the two leads lack chemistry (HGI's fault). I personally find JIW has more chemistry with HGI. Though, HGI never has chemistry with anyone haha. Maybe, because she's already married? Anyway, when they look at each other, I feel nothing. There are other couples who don't need to do anything as well and I still feel the sparks b/w them. Though, I respect your opinion ^^.

Aren't all guys in K-dramas like that? They love like crazy haha.
