I'm back because no drama is like this one. I seriously can't find one that has touched me like this one.
Can other Korean Dramas please make something like this? I'm dying to have one that touches us and makes sense. Nothing makes sense in the other korean dramas

I disagree. Happiness is way better than this one. I didn't like the time skip but the awesome chemistry between…
I stuck around 6 episodes and man Happiness started off promising, but it gets annoying. There are so many annoying characters and the story just goes around in circle with nothing happening. The two main characters don't even seem to be taking things seriously or getting scared. There are so many implausible moments as well.

I understand that they are trying to portray stereotypes, but we don't need that to fill up so much time. I can deal with one annoying character but if most of them are implausible then it hinders the story. You're right Andrew and Taesok seem interesting but I don't want to have to go through useless fillers to get to the meat of the story.

I judge from beginning till the end. So haters (not you!) don't tell me to stop watching so I can stop complaining either! I am not bias haha.

I want to compliment actor Baek Hyun Jin (the guy that killed his wife) ability to portray despicable characters.…
Is it good acting if it's easier to be hated than loved? Also, he seems to be playing the same type of character all the time.

drama is showing human nature. When our survival is at stake, the majority of us would only selfishly think about…
Yeah, but annoying is a different thing than being fully stupid. I mean I don't have time to watch stupid people cause dramas. If I wanted that I'd turn on the news to Trump.

Every single resident in that building are so bloody annoying. And downright selfish. They KNOW what’s happening…
I'd seriously lock all of them out of the building on day 0.5. I don't even need to talk to them because they seem so easy to filter out.

There is no character development in any of the stupid annoying characters (dead or alive) like the Grandpa, the streamer, the lawyer, the murderer, the murderer's gf, the evil rich snobby woman, the brother of the novelist, and I'm probably missing some other peeps. It's like Korean dramas make their characters really dumb and only the kids and the protagonists are smart. The government is a joke here, and the protagonists are not even going through proper safety protocols first here. The scene where Sae Bom tried to let the murderer's wife out was so careless. That is not how a police handles things. She could have infected the whole building. Man, this show is frustrating.

Seriously, we are already halfway and everyone is so aloof including our main characters. It's like a parody. There are so many useless bantering and blablas when they could have added so much meat. Wasted potential. If I was the main character, I'd let the entire building perish with so many punchable characters.

I would not recommend this to anyone and I will update if I change my mind. So far this show is a NO for me. If you guys want to watch a good zombie show, then go for Kingdom.

No, it is trash.
I'm starting to question all these high rated dramas sometimes. I only seem to really jam with this show as opposed to the other high rated ones. Maybe I should start looking at low rating shows on this site. The low rating is honestly from people who have not progressed from the Kdrama lala land.

You seem really sensitive. I'm sorry my shit burst your bubble.
I don't think I need to say anything further since I clearly see you wrote "America is garbage". You're so full of hate.

I think you're the one who is living in an illusion thinking that the characters in Nevertheless has any form of realistic behaviours. You definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed and have the need to swear. Maybe you should watch Malignant to calm down.

which is true for majority of korean series :/
I think you have to watch to S2 because S1 and S2 have very different vibes. If you're alright with slow dramas and early high school cheese (S1), then maybe you might enjoy it. I find Love Alarm deals with more mature and realistic themes of love, but that's just me. I know a lot of people hate it.

Please let me know some good Japanese shows! I'm a hopeless romantic :)

Title Love Alarm Season 2 Spoiler
Did we see development at all? No.Is the development still better than the entire drama Nevertheless? Yes.How…
I can see why people say there's not much development here, but I feel like most people in real life would not have drastic developments tbh which was portrayed beautifully here. It's a slow pace S2, and for me that was what made it beautiful unlike Nevertheless. The payoff here was worth it because the story made sense in terms of the love triangle.

I felt like all our 3 main leads had some sort of development.

Jojo: She was able to let go of her past and learned to forgive and love herself, and in turn truly learned to love another. She just needed someone who was supportive and gave her time and space to make her own decisions. Cough, Nabi. Jojo never used Sun Oh in S2. In fact, after she broke up with Sun Oh, she tried to be by herself, and never went back and forth. Then 4 years later Hye-Yeong just happened to be there at that time.

Hye-Yeong: He was probably the least developed because he was almost too perfect from the beginning. However, he still grew to stand his ground. He was not going to be silent anymore and he was willing to take control over the years in terms of his future (life, career, love). He stood his ground and saw how Sun Oh didn't respect him, so he was not going to give into the BS of bros before hoes. No, he was not a doormat like Potato Boy from Nevertheless because he confronted Sun Oh and also backed off right away when he saw that Jojo was confused. In fact, he was so mature that he wanted her to make a decision base on her feelings alone and not base on any of the guys' feelings.

Sun Oh: People kept complaining how the writer ruined his character, but if they rewatched S1 to S2, they'll see how consistent he has been all this time. He was never out of character. I think his development was more of like "maybe the person who truly cared for me has always been here, but I was too busy trying to chase after what I thought was love". He was so busy chasing after this image of Jojo that he had since high school that he took advantage of the one who truly cared for him through thick and thin. So in the end, he matured and understood that he was once in love with Jojo but he became obsessed, and realized that maybe Yuk Jo is the one who has made him into a better person. I don't think he would be wasting his time going to her door everyday if he did not like her that way. Sure, it's not the passionate kind of love, but it's the understanding kind. In fact, I think throughout this whole drama, it's trying to tell us that love comes in many forms. The one that last and stays the longest is the calm, stable and supportive one, and that rings true to home for me.

Don't get me wrong, there were some plot issues and character issues too, but the message was really beautiful for me.

I've given up on Korean dramas. I was wondering if I was just past the age or they were just making really crappy ones. I don't know, but I used to watch so many. Now, I can't tolerate them anymore, but I keep trying because I am a hopeless romantic at heart. Love Alarm made me come back and I know many people hate it, but I thought it was beautiful (S2).
