Yeah, I haven't been on for quite a while since a lot of personal stuff going on. Nothing bad haha. I guess my drama craze also died down a bit. Though, I still haven't forgotten this site nor the dramas hehe!
I'm eagerly waiting for the new drama with Kim Tae Hee, and Yoo Ah In also. I'd like to see how that fares.
How did you like That Winter the Wind Blows?
And by the way, I really like your display picture!

Oh, I have summer school too here haha. I haven't been on here for quite a while. I guess my drama craze sort of died down haha.
Yes, they really liked That Winter since it's from the same people as Padam, Padam. However, they told me that Padam, Padam is better :)

Hey Bladey!
Haha, I wrote a similar message to educto1, but yes, I've been quite busy with school. My finals are coming soon.
I just started watching When a Man Loves starring Song Seung Hun, and the leading actress from Fashion King (for some reason, her name escapes me at the moment).
What about you? Anything new :)?

Hey! I've been fine haha :). So many school stuff! What about you?
I've been taking a pause on Korean dramas for a while. I always see my parents watching the new drama that just finished airing with Song Hye Kyo, and Jo In Sung.
But yeah, I just got back with When a Man Loves or something? It's starring Song Seung Hun :)

Hi Bladey!
It has been quite a while. I'm doing good. What about yourself? I have been laying off on K-dramas. I'm only half watching one haha. What about you?

It's not a matter if I hate her, but rather I hate how the scriptwriter makes it so easy for the audience to hate her? There should be more of a split in Han Jae. Like, there should be a tug of war whether we should despise her or pity her. She's just disgusting.

Hey! I read your review on episode 3 of The Innocent Man. I agree that a lot of people are just hating Han Jae because she's evil. However, the scriptwriter ain't making her likable nor sympathetic. She is a coward. There has been several female characters like her in other Korean dramas. For example, Eugene from Kim Tak Goo, one of the female lead in When a Man Loves a Woman (forgot her name), and Young Mi from All About Eve. They at least have some sense of dignity or acquire my empathy. I just ain't feeling it for Han Jae. It's not that she's evil, but her purpose seems rather weak, unrealistic, and loose-ended. She's rather stupid for a two-face b*tch.

Oh, I tried watching an episode of TtBY, but I couldn't get into it. I literally dropped it 20 minutes into the first episode. The actors are so stoic. I heard they're singers though. I agree on the high school role-play.
I've only watched 1 episode of Nice Guy. It's nothing spectacular as of right now, but if you're in the mood for some heavy drama, then go ahead :). I personally love Moon Chae Won, so that's why I'm watching it. Park Si Yeon is a very good actress, especially in the first episode. I didn't know she was this good haha.
Nice Guy doesn't have anything that's very unique (yet).

What is TtBY again?
I've gone back to school. And I spend more time reading nowadays than watching Korean dramas. I'm just not that obsessed at the moment.
I watched the first episode of Nice Guy. It's a heavy melodrama.
Even if alot of you dislike Mok Dan, Kang To loves her not RaRa :P Also how come so many people are starting to…
I'm just spreading my extended opinion because you asked me how I thought she was 2D.
You start to analyze, and become more critical with K-drama characters after you watch so many. At least that's what happened to me.
I honestly don't understand why you would say that if RaRa switched character with Mok Dan then people would jump ship. Isn't that obvious? If they switched character, then obviously they wouldn't be the same no more. Also, it's not wrong to admit that you like a character more because she's more interesting. That is only normal.
You put your POV on Mok Dan, and I put my POV of Mok Dan. It's just a drama, so it's fine to be critical (:

"I'm a saint/goody two-shoes." ?
"Had a rough childhood, but I still manage to believe in purity and justice. That's how the two dudes love me." ?
"All people against my lover are evil." ?
"I live to love the man of my life." ?
"I'll be the most defying, and audacious girl." ?
"I'll be self-sacrificing." ?
"I'll be preachy."?
"I'm not as awesome realistic/rational as Rie, but Kang To loves me!" ?
"I may not be the prettiest nor the smartest, but I have the biggest heart." ?
^ these are the cardboard characteristics that most Korean female characters are sculpted into. The main character never admits their perfection which makes them seem even more perfect. I mean, heck, they're so humble. It feels so sugarcoated. Maybe, I'm just not buying her puppy eyes, and her emotionless glares. I can't stand characters that are perfect when they think they're not.

It just depends on how you're looking at it.
