Oh cool! What language do you translate from/to?
I'm surprised that you can put yourself through more Korean dramas, since you seem to translate already many Harlequins & romances.

I'm also bewildered by the high ratings for some of the rom-coms here.

Thanks for the good wishes (:

One Liter of Tears was an amazing experience for me as well.

There are only 4 episodes left, so I definitely do not have hope for it in improving. I think I gave up thinking that it'd be another amazing (masterpiece rating for mydramalist) drama after episode 2. I've always enjoyed watching the two leading actors, so that's why I continued. Now, my interest in it has been declining/going downhill.

The Hong Sisters have ran out of ideas for Big.

I understand (:
What do you translate exactly? I'm just asking out of curiosity - hehe.

I'm on my summer vacation as well. Spending my time here and there. I'm going on vacation for a while soon though. Also, I have a summer job (:.

Yes, I'm currently watching Bridal Mask. You can tell that I'm quite addicted to it - haha. I'm also watching I do, I do. It's alright.

What's up? How have you been doing? Watching anything?

Oh, you're already on episode 20 of TPM? If so, then you must be done now - haha. Tell me all about it once you're done ;).

It's true that I do, I do is a good relief from all the intense dramas (like BM or TPM). I use AGD as a comedic relief instead - haha.

by the way, did you like Rooftop Prince? I didn't quite like it. I mean, I enjoyed it, but it's not something I'd go around recommending.

Also, I hope you update your page on mydramalist. I'd love to see what other dramas you've watched. No pressure, by the way :).

Take care for now too! I really enjoy reading your insights and opinions. I'm glad to have you as a friend on here (:.

Sorry that I replied so late. I wanted to take my time in responding - haha.

Oh yes, I'm a hopeless romantic. Maybe, that's why I watch so many Korean dramas - haha. Anyhow, I love how the main character usually stands by a chivalry code of love ;). They sacrifice everything to be with their loved one. I also admire how they're so loyal and trusting of one another.

I think I realized I fell for a Korean drama when I applied the same thing in reality... and it didn't work out too prettily. The whole bad boy turned good boy aspect doesn't really work that easily - haha.

I understand if you don't like AGD. It's not a must-watch.

Oh wow, it's always nice to hear that a person from a completely different culture enjoys Korean (or Asian) dramas. You're very multicultural than - haha. Nice mix of culture :D! I've always wanted to visit England!

I'm Asian (Vietnamese) myself. I was born in NA, and I'm still living here. I also moved here and there (not as much as you!), but I'm back to square 1 - haha.

Haha - no need to thank me. I'm super glad that you're watching The Princess's Man. It definitely deserves more love. I tried making my foreign friend watch it, and she didn't finish. I guess she wasn't into the whole political and serious aspect.

Are you into romance like a lot? The Princess's Man definitely has more romance than Bridal Mask. I'm actually loving Bridal Mask more than The Princess's Man. I was (still am) a huge Princess's Man fan.

Yes, the story for TPM is incredible. The whole production and casts are very well selected.

Korean actors tend to stick with me more too. I think it's the way they portray their character. Hmmm... it's also that their characters are very touching. It's rare to come across American dramas or movies that I get so attached to. American dramas make the romance fly by too quickly. They jump in bed right away!

I'm also following A Gentleman's Dignity. I didn't quite like the last episode. I thought it was too much of a typical Korean drama filler and cliche.

The drama also hasn't mentioned about Do Jin's "illness". I hope they mention it soon. I just dislike when they leave out an important aspect for a while.

Yes, it's a well-organized rom-com in general. It is funny and witty! Yup, their conversations make sense unlike other rom-coms.

I don't mind the SeRa and Tae San couple. In fact, I like all the couples. Though, I'm most invested in Mae Ri and Yoon's relationship.

It's not a very addicting drama, but it's a solid rom-com for sure (:

I just want to say that I completely agree with your episode 11 review of Big.

My once favorite drama out of the summer season has now changed to one of the most boring one.

There are so many unrealistic and unnecessary scenes. The subplots are boring as well.

Oh, I wasn't referring to Mok Dan's friend. I was referring to the main character's friend in I do, I do. I don't mind Mok Dan's friend.

Oh yes, he has a complete character change after being set on that island. I totally love his change in character. I'm talking about Seung Yoo (:. He does look sexy with long hair AND sultry voice.

I'm doing great thank you. What about you?
By the way, if you don't mind me asking... what nationality are you ^^? I'm always curious what kinds of people enjoy Korean dramas (:.

No, the young guy in Big hasn't woken up yet. I wish he wakes up soon! The drama is really losing its momentum.

Haha - I like the young guy in I do, I do. His dorky smiles... ahhh! Though, I find it extremely unrealistic how both the dudes are willing to risk everything for the main character. The way they sacrifice certain things is just beyond my understanding. Also, I find the drama is a little too fluffy, and doesn't take much risk. A Gentleman's Dignity handles these aspects better, IMO.

Yes! The father in I do, I do with his fake mole and wig - haha! Priceless ;).

Oh, I usually watch my favorite dramas of the moment twice... as in watch it once in raw then watch it subbed. Hence, I catch more details.

I don't know which episode of Bridal Mask you're on, but it's getting really exciting. The only episodes I thought were quite slow were episodes 7, 8, and 9. Even though if those three episodes are slow, it's still better than a lot of other dramas.

I'm sorry, but this is just really bad. I find Kim Ki Bum's acting rather exaggerated. The storyline is just very…
I thought he wasn't scared enough. I just didn't feel the actor's portrayal of a young boy turned to a young man. A normal person wouldn't act like him, IMO.

Haha - if I anticipate a drama to be good, I can't wait! I just dive right into it. In a way, it's good that I have to wait b/c I won't appreciate it as much if I marathon through it. Sometimes I don't have much patience, so I even fast-forward when I have all the episodes at hand. I'd take it for granted.

Waiting each week also makes me reflect on the production as a whole. I think about it more :P. Though, I'll agree that it is painful. I guess I love pain - haha!

Hi raiona (:

I'm doing great thanks! How about you? Any interesting dramas?

Bridal Mask is awesome. If you visit the Bridal Mask page or read any of my comments on it, you'll know how obsessed I am over it - haha. You're gonna have to wait another 2 months or so for this drama to be over. That's a long time! How come you're waiting though?

Title Big
Am I the only one not annoyed by Gil Da Ran? I'm just frustrated that she won't tell him her feelings >__<
I'm not annoyed by Gil Da Ran, like the character herself. I'm annoyed by the dynamics and conversations between the characters. It makes them seem senseless and rather 2-D.
