I'm from Canada - haha.
Oh yes, I'd love to visit Vietnam. Have you visited your countries yet (: ?
How did you discover Korean dramas, by the way?
Rie is of Joseon heritage. However, the Korean freedom fighters killed her parents (if I'm not mistaken). Hence, she wants to get revenge on them by siding with the Japanese. So technically, she hates the Korean people at the moment.
I find Shunji is very much like Harvey Dent from Batman (The Dark Knight). The switch of sides is palpable and understanding for me. As cynical as I sound, everyone has a dark side in them. It's just most of it have not been triggered or will never be triggered(pheww!). It takes a life-or-death situation or a turn-of-events to make that ugly side come alive. Some are better at suppressing it than others. Kang To has been living through a tough environment his whole life. Shunji is just experiencing it now.

I guess if you can't access viki then perhaps dramafever ain't available either. I keep forgetting if you can access viki - haha. My bad!
Scored 8.85 by 352 users when it doesn't finish airing until the end of August? This is just ridiculous.
I agree with akahime and Ashu.
Rating a drama isn't the same thing as writing an overall review for it. Besides, my opinion of it changes with each passing episode. People can easily change their rating of the drama as it progresses. I don't see any wrong in doing so. It's like saying from episode 1 up till episode 17 is a rating of blabla. The rating of each episode accumulates and averages out for me - haha.
@hannaharif: You should definitely watch (:
It's really great! I'm sad that it only comes every 4 years. My country isn't a medal grabber for summer olympics, but it's still great sportsmanship!

Hi yosra9 ^^
Thanks for the friend request (:
I'm also addicted to Bridal Mask. I guess that's why you befriended me eh - haha?
On a side note, I'm also a fan of My Girl, Joo Won, and Park Shi Hoo!
Wait wat... why is Park Ki Woong's role an suppoting? It should be a main role. :S
@myrraan: No problem at all (:
@hannaharif: I'm a Park Ki Woong fan too now (:
He's such an awesome actor. He deserves a leading role in the future. He's much better than some other leading stars nowadays.
If he makes you want to kill him then isn't he doing a fine job - haha?

It depends on how you're looking at it. Usually, there's a male protagonist and a female protagonist. They are also known as the OTP.
The other two are also main characters. However, they're not the protagonists of the tale.

Oh, I meant she was born in 1993.
Yeah, Bridal Mask is really great! The last episode aired was episode 16. I watch it on viki or dramafever, so it's always subbed on the same day - haha.

The casts are great! Joo Won and Park Ki Woong are outstanding. Joo Won is really expressive, especially with his eyes. The two dudes can change from a goodie two shoes to an a**hole within a small amount of time. It's incredible. Oh, and we must not forget Shin Hyun Joon. He's just as equally amazing.
The girls are not on par with the dudes, but their roles are minor compared to the dudes. They're not bad actresses, but the guys are like really up there. The girls are new also. The female protagonist is like only a 1993 bloomer.
In general, the casts is close to top-notch.

Gaksital means Bridal Mask (:
At least, that's how they're translated in the subbed videos I watch - haha.
I think you'd be hooked on the first episode. I mean most people were hooked from the get-go. If not the first episode, then the second episode.
I thought the first episode was weird, since I wasn't used to the slow motion captures, and weird choices of music and style. Though, I was totally invested after watching the second episode. I even did a replay of the first episode and loved it even more after feeling a gist of where the characters and storyline stood.
It's a very well-organized drama thus far.

Hi BPetra (:
That's so nice of you. I felt so lonely since most people seemed to have enjoyed it. I find TMTETS was way overrated.
Thank you so much for reading my review!
By the way, how are you finding Bridal Mask (: ?

Nahhh - haha. I tried watching City Hunter multiple times. I just couldn't get into it. Well, I'm glad you're enjoying it (:
Oh yes, I'm in love with Bridal Mask. It's an absolute addiction. The suspense is crazy and mind-boggling. I believe it's my favorite drama (considering the quality remains the same or heightens - hehe).

Yeah, Kang San was an amazing character. I feel like they're really focusing on Shunji's transformation at the moment. I love his transformation! Haha - I guess this is our first difference ;).
The character developments are also great. Though, I agree about Mok Dan. I wish there was more to her character. I still find Rie's character interesting even though I never liked her. I guess that means the actress is doing a great job then - haha.
Anyhow, I still love the character dynamics. The storyline is remains a hooker as well.
The female characters are usually left underdeveloped because female viewers tend to pay more attention to the dudes. There are more female viewers than male viewers either way. TPM is one of those few dramas that makes the female character equally strong as the male character. I believe that was one of the reasons why I loved it so much (still do)!

RTP was good in general, but I also thought it was lacking in many areas. It was a little bit too childish at some parts too. Yup, the 3 bodyguards could have been better developed. I also didn't buy SeNa and that evil dude (forgot his name). They weren't fleshed out villains, IMO.
There are some American dramas that are good - haha. It depends on what you're looking for as well. Do you know a drama called Switched at Birth? I love it.
Oh, I thought Bridal Mask got back on track after episode 10. So if you find it's boring right now then you'll probably find it boring along the way. I still find it's as exciting as usual. Episode 6 is just unbeatable in general.

Hi Davia (:
NA = North America
I've never been to my home country before - haha.
I also loved the ending of TPM very much. Some people thought it was sad, but I thought it was fitting. Bittersweet seems to be the right word. They (Se Ryung and Seung Yu) have never been more happy than this either in a LONG TIME.
Hey, no problem at all! I'm just really glad I found a new buddy who loves TPM (:
Oh, I thought it was just me on RTP. I find Han Ji Min is a wonderful actress as well, but her portrayal of the character didn't seem to show that she was IN LOVE with YooChun's character. It seemed somewhat motherly or sisterly at some point too.
