The show is gaining momentum! Lakorns always start to get really good after episode 7. Great acting by our leads. They really know how to play off each other in scenes. Episode 7 gave some great insight into Lan and how he is very much focused on having agency over his life. That episode made me really sympathize with him as a character. I'm glad Mook is finally being put on some game. It's so annoying that pra'eks are allowed to make the nang'ek jealous but they rarely allow the nang'ek to do it. I'm glad her strategy is shifting. They really trying to make this Rut/Petch thing happen. They can have all the long looks they want. I'm still not feeling it. Lakorns always want everyone to end up with a happy ending. Its annoying and unrealistic.

Hmm Bhuppae Sunniwat is one I think of off the top of my head. It's more difficult with Thai dramas but I would aim for Nice Male Leads and go from there.

She was punished because she committed the sin of being a homewrecker. I don't agree with giving her cancer as well. I totally agree that Pramook is nowhere near as gloomy as Tra Barb See Chompoo. I think the comedy really helps to alleviate the tension and more serious scenes. I am just a little disappointed with how the trailer made it seem as Mook was totally in control. I'm like totally cheering her on and wanting her to win. She's at a complete disadvantage because of her past history and she is reminded on a regular basis by Lan and the nang'rai. I have a soft spot for ugly duckling stories and hate how she is reminded all the time on how she was unlikeable and undesirable. Lan is completely delusional. I definitely think there was a misunderstanding when they were teenagers that led to his behavior. I'm enjoying it so far but imma need the SML to hurry and rile things up. Kriss was such a frenemy and a hater but he definitely understood the assignment when being a SML lol.

Exactly! Totally agree with your comments as well:). Alot of people were upset with the ML flipflopping back and forth but that's what helped me to stay on his side the entire show. Who wants to see the ML being a jerk and not show any kind of affection or care at all for several episodes? Yes, the show had so many dysfunctional relationships and I kept thinking everyone really needs some kind of therapy. Thai dramas love their moral lessons. The nang'rai always ends up in a bad situation at the end of the show. I'm actually surprised Chaya didn't try to arrange a gang rape or hire someone to kill Kiew. I kept waiting on that to happen lol. Great acting and great directing! I'm really happy that they have the same director for Pramook as well.

This lakorn is giving me a more intense adult version of Neung Nai Seung. The whole ugly duckling storyline, enemies to lovers, and the misunderstanding between the leads. I'm not happy that Mook is at a disadvantage in the relationship. He has the upper hand because of their past history and everyone reminds her. She can pull out the sexy nang'rai energy (love how they have her wearing red lips majority of the time) but as soon as his nastiness comes out, it's always a wrap smh. ML totally needs to be humbled and I am ready for his comeuppance. Hopefully, our SML will come through lol. The little sister has to be one of the most annoying characters that I have seen in a while. I am totally against the Rut/Petch pairing.

Supposedly the book that the show is based on had the FL move into the house and the ML assumed/misunderstood that was she was his father's mistress (she was never a mistress). I believe her mother was dead in the book and the father had her move in because she was alone. The show has both the mother and daughter move in.

I wished lakorns would be better about editing (the father's assistant betrayal and confession to the father was never shown) and wrapping up the ending. Peat's behavior showed that he wasn't interested in Chaya at all but it would have been nice to hear him say that he didn't go that far with her. I knew Peat and Chaya never slept together from the tiny recap during a montage that we see in one of the later episodes and Peat's overall behavior but the show should have been way more clear about it. I also think they could have given a full episode to him begging forgiveness. Lakorns have a really bad habit of rushing everything at the end and I didn't like how they had FL play pretend like she was upset in the last episode and then made her rush after him. They should have spent more time with him coaxing her but they literally wrapped everything up in like twenty mins smh.

I fully enjoyed this lakorn. I can totally see why it was super popular when it aired on tv. I was lowkey worried because so many people were saying how frustrated and upset they were with the ML's actions but I've seen way worse. I kept thinking of Sawan Biang and Prom Pissawat while watching this show. The ML had alot of the immaturity and childishness of ML's like in Neung Nai Seung and Prom Pissawat but he was able to emote really well that I could sympathize with him at times like I did with the ML in Sawan Biang. I think if you are a lakorn veteran then you will be fine. If you are not used to mean ML's especially in lakorns then you might get quite upset with the show lol.

I really didn't even take his so called revenge seriously at all. It was the whole I am on a path of vengeance for the principle of the matter. It was so stupid and I rolled my eyes every episode and kept thinking here comes Tweedledee (Peat) and Tweedledum (Chaya) lol. Peat was constantly fighting his emotions and torturing himself for absolutely no reason but this is how revenge lakorns work lol. I really liked the chemistry of the main couple and could really see the affection between the two even amongst all the chaos. This was my first lakorn with Bua as a FL and thought she did an excellent job. She totally had the nang'ek glow and was super adorable in the show.

I know! It's so annoying. I was able to find a blog that did a recap of the episode and was able to use that and also watching the episode raw.

Check out Ra Raerng Fai!

I have mixed feelings about this lakorn. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't watch it again. I kept comparing it to Ra Raerng Fai and felt it was lacking in certain places. Fa Lai Fai has the FL at the center while Ra Raerng Fai has the ML enacting revenge. I was a bit disappointed that the writers had the FL do typical things for revenge due to her gender. It got old really fast and I found myself taking breaks while watching the drama and getting bored at times (which I never usually do with lakorns). The chemistry wasn't horrible between the leads but it could have been way better. There were several times where I felt the scenes should have been redone because it was just awkward or stiff between the two. Boy's character came off very one dimensional and was just a generic nice guy lead. Matt was really gorgeous in this lakorn but I wished she had emoted better in some scenes. She kept relying on this stiff stoic face in emotional scenes and I sometimes wondered if her character even really had feelings for the ML especially at the beginning of the show. I definitely felt the acting for both leads got way better after episode 10.

I would recommend you watch it and see for yourself. Idk I think the problem is that the FL is such a major part of the show and the FL in this show was sorely lacking. Someone in the comments used the example of Walmart vs a designer brand. I do think if you are used to lakorns more then the K drama might come off more boring. It was just a different energy.

Show started out interesting and then completely died out. I would have dropped this show if it wasn't for Park's amazing acting. He literally carried this entire show on his back. FL was a huge disappointment. As soon as her identity was revealed she became a super passive character and just cried the entire time. Show should have been cut down and was dragging by episode 12. I would only watch this if you are fan of Park Bo Gum.

I just read the webtoon that this drama was based off of and my review still stands. I think both leads did a great job acting similar to their webtoon characters. I actually prefer the ML in the drama compared to the webtoon. He was meaner and more abrasive in the the webtoon while the ML in the drama was sweeter and fell for the FL alot faster. The FL was excellent at portraying Mi Rae awkwardness and goofiness. She was super awkward and would have mini meltdowns and anxiety attacks all throughout the webtoon so her character in the drama was way toned down in comparison. She was still super sweet and adorable . I would definitely recommend reading the webtoon if you want more insight into the characters. It has way more of a comedic side to it compared to the show and was super hilarious.
