I was right. Seems like old girl has found a new target lmao. I was happy to see Max wish good things for Aim. Definitely shows mature growth.

I keep asking myself the same question. I'm sure the writers wanted a lot of romantic screen time with the main leads but its bs. I haven't been this upset about the SML in a long time lol.

I hate how she was the reason for preventing an actual romance between Min and Aim but I do agree with Min's Aunt. I'm sure Nim would have drugged Min and slept with him as well.

Same here I also don't like Female chases Male lead first but this drama was different . Can you tell me some…
It's pretty good. I am actually rewatching now after suggesting it lol. Lakorns is just another name for Thai Dramas.

Hmmm you are really making me dive deep into my drama pool lol. You could check out Ra Raerng Fai. Its a deception/manipulation and forced marriage drama. One of my favorite actors and the FL was pretty strong as a character. Idk know if you watch lakorns but its a very different taste from other Asian dramas. Its definitely a rollercoaster but I enjoyed it.

The only one I can think off the top of my head is the K-drama Something About 1 Percent. Complete different storyline (contract relationship) but you have the really rude arrogant rich businessman and the sassy FL. Its a more cute, fluffy kind of romance but you get a ton of kisses.

I finally finished watching it, but I skipped episodes 10-14 because I didn't want to see Qing Feng sad. I never…
Totally agree. I couldn't support Aoran and the FL and thought he was super one dimensional as a character. He was sweet towards the end but still didn't stick out for me like Qing Feng. Tian Xing really came and saved the show for me. You were smart for skipping the last SML episodes. I was Kim K ugly crying during his last scenes with the FL sigh.

Absolutely loved the show! I remember being around episode 17 and feeling so sad knowing that the show was about…
I'm really annoyed with the writers and felt they did Qing Feng wrong in the show. I did not understand why the FL fell for Aoran at all. I get that he looked like Tian Xing and so she had a bias but he was so one dimensional as a character. Yes, he was super handsome and rich but there wasn't really anything about him that should have made her fall for him. He was as one dimensional as Shu Shu for the female role. I was annoyed because I felt she just focused on him because he was the ML. Qing Feng got to know her personality really well and spent a ton of time with her. He always knew to look for her if something bad happened and naturally knew what to say and how to care for her. His personality really developed after he got his "awakening" but she was still stuck on Aoran. Like she always talked about the lame stereotypes in romance novel and she still ignored the SML. I really wished the writers could have let the SML and FL end up in the novel world and Tian Xing get with her in the real world. Some reviewers on Dramacool mentioned it could have spurred Tian Xing to get his act together since he screwed up in the novel world and would have made the show more interesting.

If Tian Xing hadn't been such a great ML, I would have cursed the show and thrown my computer out the window. I didn't care for the main pairing until Tian Xing woke up and we got to see his really sweet personality. He really made up for Aoran and I liked liked the scenes between the two. I am still not happy with Qing Feng's ending and thought it was bittersweet. He got his happy ending and would not wander anymore but he was still aware of his role as a character. He got the girl but it wasn't the girl he truly fell in love with since he got the "awakening."

Absolutely loved the show! I remember being around episode 17 and feeling so sad knowing that the show was about to end. Idk what it is about this drama but it really touched my heart sigh lol. I haven't watched a Taiwanese drama in a long time so it was really nice to watch one again and be reminded of why I really enjoyed them. Tons of skinship and some really nice romantic scenes in this drama!

The FL was hilarious, wild, and all over the place but you couldn't help but love her. I was like many reviewers that didn't like how she was styled but as I got to know more of her character I thought her wild styling really suited her. She was really adorable and could really spit out some smooth romantic lines to the ML. I normally do not like the Female Chases the Male Lead trope but I gave her pass lol. Yes, she was cringey and did the most at times but she really had balls and I gave her major props. I absolutely adored the SML and loved how his character developed. I really loved how he was styled in the oversized jackets and shirts (gave me 90s boyband vibes lol). He was thoughtful, witty, flirty, caring and super sweet to the FL. My SLS was at an all time high in the show and I was heartbroken watching scenes between the two.

Show was kind of lackluster in the beginning but it finally has picked up some steam. Episode 6 was high energy…
Bella's sister is trash and I cannot wait for her to get her just desserts. I lowkey wanted to jump through the screen and pull her by the hair lmao. Louis's character is receiving his karma. In the beginning I really didn't think he cared at all for the FL but I can tell he loves her but he has a very twisted view of how relationships work. Dude waited until it was too late to turn over a new leaf.

I just rewatched the Korean version and decided to skim through the Thai version and compare scenes and yeah its a no for me dawg. I love Thai dramas and enjoy Channel 3 lakorns but this was a struggle version of the original. I've heard mixed things about Matt's acting and she couldn't do the character justice. It was very one dimensional and she pretty much played a bratty and obnoxious film actress. It felt like she was just reading off lines and she had no comedic timing at all. I normally cannot stand Spoiled FL characters and the Korean actress was able to play the character in a way that you end up really liking the FL. The Korean drama is all about comedic timing and Matt couldn't bring the heat. For ex. compare the scene when the FL is drunk and going into the wrong apt. It was like night and day between the two versions. I think Kim would have done a way better job since she's used to comedy and spoiled FL roles.
Nadech seemed okay and had a different take on the ML role. I was disappointed in the villain because that Thai actor tends to really shine in villain roles and he was so flat and one dimensional (if you compare to the Korean actor). The music was cheesy and took away from scenes. The one positive is that they did an excellent job recreating the apts and sets in comparison to the Korean version. I still think they should have given the story its own flavor and not try to be complete copycats since their version fell so short.

I remember how big this show was when it first aired in 2013. It made such a big impact due to the fashion and beauty (Jun Ji Hyun's lipstick was like a bestseller) and the overall storyline. I just rewatched it now 2020 and I still understand the hype. It brought back really good memories and I still think it is a fun watch. The FL character was literally made for Jun Ji Hyun and I don't think many actresses can come close to being able to play such a character that is so multilayered. She's overdramatic, self-absorbed, conceited, hilarious, sensitive and surprisingly caring deep down inside. I think majority of actresses would have made the character just one dimensional. I remember being so amused and loving the character and I still feel the same way. A definite watch!

Surprisingly really enjoyed this drama. This drama really had some divisive reviews lol. People either love it or think it was boring and waste of time. I am of the love it camp lol. I read the negative reviews and made sure to prepared for disappointment and I ended up really enjoying the drama. This K-drama really reminds me of stereotypical J-drama with the tsundere ML (super cold/reserved on the outside and really sweet and thoughtful on the inside). Cold ML's in J-dramas are very stoic and blank faced but its all about the super subtle acting. I thought the ML fit that type of role really well and I noticed the slight smiles and the warm eyes when he looked at the FL. That style of acting and ML character is not everyone's cup of tea so be warned. I really liked the FL and rooted for her from episode 1. She had something about her that made you want to protect her. Yes, the plastic surgery was quite apparent but her sweetness and personality made me overlook it. Her awkwardness, shyness, and sweet nature made her very pretty to me. I loved how she always genuinely boosted other girls and gave them compliments.

I had no issue with the leads romance or chemistry. They were literally two misfits who really didn't fit in and grew up to be socially awkward. I'm sure we all personally know super awkward adults in real life lol. Their chemistry was more on the puppy love/high school side. They didn't have experience dating or interacting with the opposite sex growing up, so it made sense why they acted a certain way in scenes.
