I don't really view this as open or so. Basically I take it as a happy ending. Because I actually wasn't looking at the end of the world stuff Literally most at times in the show. But was engaging with the concept and characters from a more metaphorical manner where the end of the world concept plays a deeper meaning than just "End a world" A meaning not on the surface but one that reflects all characters dynamics, relationship and stand in life. So If you take it a figurative stand, It's happy. (+ Yuma blowing off the meteor heavily hints at a metaphorical redemption for the characters as the impending doom that pushes these characters to their worse is taken out now)
Even in a literal sense, I feel The end didn't happen.
Overall I think the writer did a good job conceptualising this and the ending was a brilliant closure if you ask me. I'd be childish if The world literally starts collapsing and the die..
It'd be less childish if suddenly the meteor was stopped, Though wouldn't still hit as hard as what the writer gave up. A vague closure to let up reflect on the discussed themes in relation to the end time metaphor thrown. Brilliant

From Clips, It was pretty obvious the two dramas you mentioned about had leads with chemistry so idk what they have to do here. And saying I haven't watched enough or pay attention because I don't find this ship worth my time romantically is odd because what does Watching enough of anything has to do with making a comment on people you find romantically compatible?
I've seen a large share of Kdrama to the point that I'm getting extremely picky and will have my say of criticism before and after a show. And as for before? I do not find them romantically interesting and that's just it (I'm not even the only one because the issue is with the male lead who hasn't proved himself romantically enticing with his pairing in previous dramas. So not my fault
As for my opinion after or during the show? let's see when it airs then if I'll be proven wrong. Love pairing is actually a game you could predict it's ending3

I shared my opinion and I guess that triggered you. I'm not stopping you from enjoying any love line. But from previous works I've seen, It's safe to say I don't think these two can't work lol. It's not double standards, it's a matter of predictions. Being able to see in a glimpse who could pull of a chemistry duo (Which all comes down to taste and preference) And in my view, she'd have a better chemistry with the other guy. The lead guy is not cut out for it.

Nah didn't read it and not necessarily any spoilers. Basically. 1. I like him as an actor and pray for more attention for him (so he's one of the reasons I'm watching) 2. As a character, he sure is a jerk and some things he's doing are rather meh. But a part of me is getting biased and want to understand his character more. since from moment we see that he has some sort of Inferiority complex going on. The contrast of being poor standing next to a rich girl you like. The idea of poverty mentality eating him up to act and be the way he is. The concept of even his mother indirectly reinforcement that notion in him. I actually pity his character in some light and am curious to see him grow out of it.
